No I didn't have a problem except for the fact that you guys where completely off topic and it is my job to moderate this forum smarty pants!

I am a Christian but I use the Catholic church as a medium to practice my faith
I have no problem worshiping in the Church of another Christian denomination nor would I be against having a relationship with someone of any other faith or an Atheist

I don't take the bible at face value I see it as a guide to help us make moral decisions in my life. I say, so what if the universe wasn't created in one day the fact that it came from nothing (I have studied physics and its the general belief that there was nothing before the big bang) is a miracle in it's self.

I guess I didn't phrase that very well. You weren't liking our debate in that thread = you didn't like it's existence there. (I can't take an insult lying down ^^)

To be on topic I have no religion. When I was younger my mom used to take my brother and I to the local Unitarian Church. Anybody ever heard of it? They basically say you can believe whatever you want, and it was sorta a waste of time. We rebelled and don't go anymore.

But of course I have nothing again religious people. Sorry if that sounded rude or inconsiderate.

I don't take offense and I think you where right to follow your own beliefs
Religion is a personal matter it's not something to be forced on people
thats why I believe that religion should be kept out of polectics

Im agnostic, technically a agnostic theist. I was raised in a Christian household and I understand most of their beliefs. I dont believe in everything they believe in, but there are some Im willing to accept. I do believe in their God. Im like skull, I dont take the Bible at face value and think of it as a book of morals to help you make moral decisions, not as a set book of instructions of how to get into heaven.

I'm a Christian....I guess(Methodist, Presbyterian, Baptist.....I've been to many churches....would that make me non-denominational?) Anyways, I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross to cleanse our sins and give us another chance at heaven, lol.
So, like Sano said, what is the issue here?

I'm referring to the way some people some people will take a look at the bible and say everything there is right anything that isn't in the bible is wrong I will go out and do everything as the bible says I should despite the fact that many of the later gospels are coded and use metaphors because of the Roman persecution of Christians
In other words many religious nut cases and cult leaders

I don't like the idea of just taking everything a book or someone tells you to be true. People should think for themselves, be it religion or everyday life. There are plenty of religions out there, so think for yourself, because other people have.
