same thing applies in other religions as well....((im not a christian.....im a muslim)).............religion to me is not only ones belief.....its a method...and a science.........wen evr u have science...u hav theories....with theories u get different interpertations...perspectives.....and logics...

its a long process of analyzin human tendecies to be noticed and be right.

I'm not a Christian; as stated in the athiest thread, I identify myself as a Deist now, but I was raised a rather strict Muslim.

As for what I think of Christians...that question is awkwardly phrased for anyone who doesn't come from a Christian background. I deeply respect the beliefs of Christians and the teachings of Christ, and I think there are some pretty good concepts present in it, as there are in every religion.

I would agree with you crystal, there are good points to alot of religions, but i dont think any one religion is wholly correct either.

One thing that really pisses me off as a Christian is when bigots step forward to condemn, insight hate and harass others.
Thats is unchristian Jesus never condemned anyone he spoke to the people who where the outcasts of socioty he told people his message and gave them the choice to follow his teachings he never made them do it he never instructed people to hate or kill in God's name

"Do onto others as you would have them do onto you"
"What you do onto the lesser of my brothers you do onto me"

Nope I don't like the Chirstians, and I sure hell ain't one....I don't like the fact that they think that everything is going against god and most of the fun things we do are part of satan...I also don't like that they don't have a christ in their cross what are they afraid to show that jesus died a grizzly death on the cross? Not that I really care about my religion, neither do I care about the christians...

you have no idea what christianity is dont you... just because mybe you knew some christians like that doesnt mean this is what christianity is

that is so true . . . not! Remember when He turned up tables in the synagog and "condemned" their actions.

MATTHEW 21:12-13

That doesn't really jazz with what you're saying.

The people he condemed were using the temple which was a sacred place of worship to conduct business they were trading buying and selling items in the temple
they were violating the rules of the temple he had good reason to drive them out

It would be like if I walked into your church and started and tried to sell stuff to your congregation I would be thrown out also but I never heard any passege where Jesus preached to the people to hate or even harm other people because he didnt agree with their life style
Biggots attack people who havent actually done anything to them Fred Phelps is a prime example he stages protests at peoples funerals and tells his congergation that Ireland is gay and evil because we elected a gay senetor and the majority of our people follow the Catholic faith it's that sort of stuff I'm speaking out about
