Well im presbyterian but the only real difference between the diffrent religions is how literally they take the bible.
The most literal is the traditional Catholic
Then, so the english king could get a divorce, he changed the nations religion to the slightly less literal Protestant
Orthodox is a branch off from catholic when the holy empire was too large orthodox was what catholics turned into in the west i think...or maybe east... but anyway they are more tolerent and thats where presbyterians branch off from too i think ^_^


im pres. cause they believe the foundations but not following word for word, the bible which was not meant to be used that way cause following Jesus, I think, is more about how you feel and trust him. not a set of rules that if u follo u will get to the pearly gates.

I'm an Atheist. Not much to say there.

I used to be Roman catholic, but I left the Church due to many personal and non-personal reasons. Basicly throughout my life I lost a little faith every time a bad thing has happened. I heard all kinds of explanations..."Thats how God works" " Everything has a meaning" etc etc.

I just got fed up and sick of it. I sat down with my priest and told him all the reasons why I'm leaving.

I do except Evolution to a point, I just don't know what really is out there.

Well ok...i don;t have a set religion,but if i take a general view,I'm an seventh day Adventist- a protestant church... or WAS. Till i realized that the truth is not something prophesied in a single church. So i left the church and started studying other religions when i was 11. So about my religion now... i believe in the christian ( protestant at least) dogmas....God created us,and the bible is a guide to both out religious and social lives.But i allso believe that god is not a ,,spirit" as declared by most of the churches-it is something much more deeper. I believe in the Truth,in Wisdom and Intelligence.

But most of all,i believe in the present. I don't try to earn my way to heaven,but i try to survive, which as am financially unstable and different kid is not so easy.
I would rather use drug dealing or non-violent robberies as a way of getting money than sitting there hungry ( tried that,didn't work).

im catholic.....and i go to a catholic school.......i know every detail about jesus and more.....(never send ur kids to a catholic school, they just teach you the same things over,and over,and over, and over again...) (8 years of learning why jesus died for us D=)

I suppose he is right because that what I hear from the local catholic schools around the area, and they also brainwash kids.

Btw I'm also a Catholic, I'm a server and a reader at my local church, and I attend a catholic school. I'm not a devout catholic, I only become serious when I serve on saturdays. When I go to school it annoys me a bit when they use modern morals and add a twist of Jesus, God and/or the holy spirit.

I always separate my religion life to that saturday or when I go to church, and my normal school/work life on the weekdays. I never like it when people try to integrate my religion life with my normal life.

I'm not a christian, and what do I think about Christians? Well, whenever I've come across a so-called christian, it's usually an angry black woman cussing,and fussing. She's calling me everything but a child of god, and when she's finished...she end's the conversation like this...

"Shit, I don't need to be out here listening to this shit!" I'm a CHRISTIAN WOMAN! "Now let me get back to my apartment, and sit on my Rent-a-center furniture, stop coming around here to collect my rent money, I'll mail you the shit, when my gov't check get's here" Then she politely slams the door in my face. So, no...I don't hold Christians in high regard.

Your567890 is a GIRL and so am I. We both go to the same schools, so were both catholic. We have to wear ugly kilts. I am NOT lying either

My apologies for mistaking Your567890 as a boy. But the uniform for some catholic schools are ridiculous. I remember one school where I used to live, it was an all girls catholic school, their uniform was like 60's school uniform, dark brown and cream as the colours. It consisted of thick long socks, long + thick brown skirt, a cream shirt, a thick brown/cream jumper and a thick brown blazer. The students had to wear it all year including the summer.(Ridiculous right?) Many of the students had to be taken to hospital due to suffering heatwave. Parents tried to convince the school to change its policy, but the school remained firm to their policy even when it's against the health of their students.
