Do u believe

Everyone asks me do i believe in god, and when i tell them yes they act so shock because i tell them that i don't go to church. Why is that shocking. i find no need to prove my faith to anyone. i can't sit in a church for hours having pages of the bible read to me, those anyone else feel the same, or do you believe going to church shows ur love for god.

It's not all that uncommon anymore to see people who say they believe in God and don't go to church, but going to church isn't about proving your faith, it's about wanting to learn more about the Lords word. About being around a positive environment, and being around others who share your faith with you. The bible does not say you have to go to church, but it is statistically proven that those with more faith usually are there.

Screw what the people say....you don't need to prove your faith to anyone. I don't see why you would have to go to church. You study your religion right? You believe god exists and follow what he says so what more must you do? Righteousbob actually put a very beautiful answer. Erm I don't agree with the last sentence though. It's not who has more faith it's just having faith in god. Kind of like when you do good deeds....in European history (sorry this was a while ago so I might mistaken it) people did good for salvation but if you believed in god and had faith you would just naturally want to do good...go to church if you want or don't go. It shouldn't be the factor of how much of whatever.

well if the world were created by the mere exeistance of one person, then the world of Seria would not exist. In fact the worlds behond this very world have very much right to exist without scientest theories or god's creations. Never less, The world has thus been taken by the world of Seria. Not owned, but re-created of another generation of humans on another world.
Believe in what you human think, and i shall believe in what the voices of our planets many ancectors have said over the millenium. "Forgive but not forget". "Listen to our past, and that will create your future." Echos of our voices have fallen upon deaf ears.
Why don't you humans want to listen?
Love on this planet is pathetic.
Why you might ask? Well look around, past your family, past your girlfriend or boyfriend and see; the once preserved earth that many a hand has created, to be crushed between firm hands and destroyed.

Humans, you have learned your lesson more than once, The people of Seria think it's time to face a new plan of action.
Yes, The time the sun burns out, is the time this world shall die.
From the few pieces we collect of this earth and time, We shall create and keep creating a new earth.
Remember: What ever you do to 'help' and 'save' this world, will not help.

I will say i have faith, Faith in god, power, prayer, whatever you call it.
i neither go to church, nor have i read the bible, my only claim to a religious faith is through my family and the times i do go to church, which is on holidays as a family ritual.
do i believe in god, yes i believe in a higher power, do i belive it protects and guides us, yes that too. i dont worry what ppl think about my feelings on religion. cause i will take things in stride, We may figure out the world and how it runs, till then im going to enjoy the ride, faith is a wonderful thing.

^as are you, no matter how hard you deny it young fire, you are nothing more than a flame burning it's life away. We are all flames, even I, even obama or the pope, we are lit when we are born, and we dye as the flame goes out. We mate with other flames, grow and learn what wind to look for and what rains to stay away from. No one is immortal, no one is above the one that made us so. Either evolution or god, there is no one greater than that. Do not think of yourself as higher and defiantly do not belittle others, for there are those that care, and those who do not. learn the difference, learn to grow, learn to forgive and let the past be that. I am no more a flame as you are, so stop this whole human act, and be yourself. Believe what you want to believe, who really cares? just don;t act higher than others, when all living things are equal. All living things are a flame. Do not mock the flame of life.

@topic: I believe there is a god, i do not go to church and i say my share of curse words and have had the same pervy thoughts as everyone else. I am human, i am a flame, i will die, and i have a simple goal, to die of old age. How and what life or god, or evolution may throw at me, i will take it and move on. No one is immortal, no one should force others on a religion, or to go to church. It is our right to believe what we want and do so in a non belittling way.
