i've heard about somethings about suicide lately and i decided to start a debate here....some say that you need courage to take out your life...i don't think so...for me, those who kill themselves are just cowards that run away from living....they just don't have the guts to face the hard times that they are going through......what you guys think?

i agree with you, there is always away out from any problem so suicide is not the answer

Now suicide is for people that cant deal with the world and the problems in it, but many people cant hurt themself. What happens is they get every thing ready just about to do it then it is ethier they think about family and friends or just cant handdle the pain.

Now i belive suicide isnt right but it does take guts to hurt your own body. Dont go tell me you can do that without thinking twice b/c most cant and if you can you need help.

i dont think it takes guts to kill your self because there is allot of ways you can kill yourself painlessly

Yep, you can OD on drugs or take a bunch of pills which switch off your ability to perceive that you are hurting. Heck, for that matter, you can take a bunch of pain killers and then slit your wrist cause you wont be able to feel it anyway...

Now I dont condone suicide. Im quite against it. I would be lying if I said I had never thought about suicide, but Ive got too much to live for to be doing that. I also have friends that knew people that committed suicide and it still bothers them today even though their friend committed suicide a real long time ago.

Suicide is a very touchy feely topic. While I do believe it is wrong, I know I am in no place to judge a person who did it. It is hard to comprehend what is going on in their head. Just because you think there is no reason for someone to be hurt or upset doesn't mean they are fine. I guess what I am getting at is it sad that people feel like they are backed so far into a corner that they resort to that. But at the same time you have to understand that they are hurting inside enough where they resort to such a thing. All you can hope is that they find peace where ever they end up.

You are right now there are many painless ways of killing your self. Sorry I should of said that I was talking about the painfull ways. Still I'm against it.

I am against suicide =/ and I do not think people committing suicide as cowards as well.. their perceptions in life and their views are just screwed up, distorted and they need help to be exact.

I'm not going to say a suicidal person is a coward. I mean, I myself would never be able to kill myself. So, you must have a little bit of bravery in you to go through with it, but it takes more bravery to live than to kill yourself still. However, I believe that every individual that is a human being has been giving their right to live. Meaning that they own it, and like any paper like a contract, they can rip it apart.

The repercussions if there is a heaven or hell would be similiar to breaking the law by tearing up a contract which is an illegal offence. As I said though, it's their life -- They can do whatever they want with it. The result of his family and anybody else he knew wouldn't be so nice though. Kind of selfish if they think about it and involve his friends and family into the equation of his life and who he has affected.

they kill themselves because they are scared so that makes them cowards
