ummm...well it's natural to people...because they don't want his/her love ones to leave them, for me ...^^,
To support nekolover's statement, it's true, that's the best way. But I suggest ignoring them since we don't want you to have your life ripped to pieces D: That would be sad, we want to help. When I deal with the stalkers here, I ignore them, but if I'm really annoyed, I turn to my favourite cold glare which I call the Fuck Off and Die Look. Sounds harsh, but basically it's a look that I give them that says 'leave me alone'. Try that if you want to be cold, it always works for me. :) @neko, yes, it is a topic that brings you down since we all either feel it or experience it in some other form. But it's best to let it all out. And I don't think it is your fault if you fail, because of the mere fact that you tried. The others who don't try, failed because they couldn't be bothered to help. Get what I mean?
I think jealousy can be cute and don't think the girl didn't saw through his actions XD. You should be proud he was jealous of you, it means he took you into consideration XD. Being envied means being popular, if you don't want to be envied anymore, stop being popular aka stop talking with the girls XD.
I think a little jealousy in love is healthy... but don't cater it too much or it will explode...
