seeing as they have an official free and subbed webstream whenever a new ep is released

kind of the same thing really..
once you choose what paradigm to use you can start shaping your idea for a program to that paradigm
aka, you work out your design then

of course, that is the final conclusion..
each paradigm has it's advantages and disadvantages..
so it's possible to choose the paradigm best suited for the program you want to write

pretty much, but without a paradigm software design wouldn't be all that much to begin with..
it'd be chaotic without a certain logic, no guidelines, no definite syntax

with that i have to disagree as a paradigm isn't just a style..
a paradigm enforces the entire logical structure of a program and on that structure you apply your own style

i'm not sure if this logically leads to C++ being the most powerful language..
you know the saying, if you try to accomplish everything you will accomplish nothing..
C++ maybe be able to follow any paradigm, but no human being is able to master them all. he might be sufficient in them, but will never be better than someone who has devoted him/herself to only one of them.

and i kind of like the OO paradigm.. up to a certain level.. what i usually had to end up doing in OO classes was making it a whole lot harder for myself than was actually needed for the program to function just cause the paradigm told it should be made in a certain way..

hmm.. most reliable way would be steam xD

and yeah i didn't expect sun to get ripped..
but from MS' point of view they walked away unscratched, 2 billion is nothing for them

well of course sun didn't just hand over the source code.. ms would hand over one of their source codes either if someone else missed a feature and wanted to put it in to sell as part of one of his own products O.o'
but they could also just ask sun to help them with that feature? rather than hacking their way into their code..
i suspect that if i start to edit one of their products on a binary level and would start selling that they would get 'mad' at me too..

all in all it's still MS just being too proud and being very hypocritical as usual..
only reason why they keep managing to get away with this is cause they can afford to throw away money like that =/ pretty sad really, might be working fine for this as an industry but imo it's all but good for this branch as a science..
