At least that's the option I use in CS2, there's Flatten image (merge everything to background), merge layers, and merge visible layers.....don't know the difference anyhow thanks for the tip!
Do I flatten the image after, or do I use an overlay option?
I'm not sure what you mean by "working on layers". Do you mean copy the original background and then work on that, but what's the point if I use normal blend? and you can't really edit an empty layer
depends on what you think of when you say edit. I resize them and use level, rarely I use contrast or brightness because that's something that basically you get done right there on the spot when you're taking your image and you can notice the difference especially when it comes to color/contrast/brightness...... So basically I resize all and level some of the photos I posted here..... as for the "real" editing as in adding/removing objects, blurring, sharpening adjusting tone/hue/color I do that only in cases of, because I forgot to set the white balance etc..., panoramas. IE http://www.ransom-note-typography.co...image_full/44/, although this is a big of an extreme example I probably couldn't fix that mismatch.....I'm not that good in CS that's funny because I also use CS, CS2 though.....probably just my imagination because I know how the HQ version looks like
oh, but a quick question....how do you resize your pics? I always feel like mine get really blurred when I resize them....and I do mean really blurred especially the sharp details when I use a small f number
yeah, probably all I need is a break.... though I did try to make a picture during the short breaks we had for new year and I found that I forgot to anticipate what kind of picture will come out of what kind of settings xD they all kept turning out grossly too red, well that's a bit of an overstatement but they were somehow too red.... so the technical side you kind of forget but I think my compositions are still good. I should probably try to quite panoramas for a while (because I don't need to worry about the colors per picture but just some average total exposition xD) though that takes up most of the time because you need to spend them walking around trying to find something that looks great unlike pans where you just stand in front of what you already know is a good site..... work? I though you were a grad student?
Sam I think, yeah, :D I'm pretty sure my name is Sam. Sam I am. I see you didn't stop with photography. They look great. Unlike me, I'm kind of stuck in such a rut with the uni obligations that I've stopped even liking physics xD. That's pretty much it with me, I barely do anything interesting. What's up with you?
Do I remember your from somewhere? :P
