My weekend was alright, I was stuck with some work so couldn't really get out or do anything specific. Had a wedding to go to yesterday but felt terrible, spent most day in bed with flu x.x

Lol, have fun at the party. I went to a wedding earlier this week, and was planning a bit of a lazy weekend but since I've been a little lax during the work days I have a bunch of stuff lined up for the weekend too x(

I have to design my business card, went out earlier to purchase some raw materials [I'm currently designing a bridal dress] and then there's some more related stuff [ don't want to bore you with the details :)]

PS: The Mentalist has been on my watch list for a bit. I hope I get time to watch it.

Yes, I can't argue with that. There's plenty of good things about being your own boss. Perhaps you could partner with someone or such :)
You mentioned being responsible in a big firm, I suppose managing that is quite a skill. Like I am right now, I'm doing okay on my own but if I ever were to go mainstream or expand my business, I'd like to work alongside someone who has good knowledge of the business side of things. I could be the creative brain, they'd be the managing one.

Ah, I see. Any idea when those issues will be fixed? I believe Misu is working on those too? All the flashy and pretty stuff did bring people back however, and in the mood to post so that is nice indeed ^^

No running to parents with your problems, expecting them to fix everything.

For me, there is a choice since I am not answerable to anyone other than my clients [Running my own clothing business] but I think that's difficult because you can get laid back and miss out on deadlines if not too careful. I'd still like to work for a company that is well established, get some good experience but for now I'm sticking to my small scale business.

How are you liking the changes on AA so far? :)

Yep, I agree. I'll probably do something about it soon, though my hair becomes a total mess in winters.

I kind of had a vacation in August when my family got together for my sister's wedding. Unfortunately, since I was responsible for a lot of the wedding planning, I couldn't escape work even when not working ;) I had fun though, just not the relaxation I needed.

So you've thrown yourself in work whole-heatedly after your vacation? Sometimes, I find it difficult to get out of my vacation mode, it takes a while specially when I've had a bit too much of laziness, food and shopping :b

Pretty much the same as yours though I'm getting a little tired of this constant. I either need a change or a vacation :)
Unfortunately the only change I can afford right now is probably a new haircut :b
Or maybe some retail therapy might help :D
