Yeah everything is fine here,i got some cold,nothing serius though,Uni is the same ,grad.year finally ,but still have a bunch of left over exams from my previous 2 years >_> ffs. . .

hey man hows life been treating you?
it's been rough on me I have to do a repeat year because I failed my thesis
not through lack of work but more so a colouration of bad circumstances
1. the oldest and shittiest pc in the lab which kept breaking down
2. being shafted into a section of biology which is done through computer science
3. being offered practically no help until it got to the stage where even with help it made no difference

It effected me in more ways than one trying to concentrate on teaching myself Java and C++ while researching the thesis and trying to study for the exams cost me dearly because my average dropped way down. Life is so fair isn't it

hey man how have you been?
yeah she actually advised me to go back to college because of the economic climate and do a course aimed at lab technique because at the moment I have the theory but not the practical knowledge that is the problem with most science courses they don't teach you everything you need, either they concentrate on the background knowledge or the practical knowledge but not both because it is just too much to squeeze into one course

there is a woman who lives at the end of my street she is retired but she still works as a free lance inspector and advisor for the Biotechnology firms in my area she I was talking to her randomly at the shops today. She offered to meet with me and review my degree she said would point me in the right direction education wise and pull some of her contacts if I get the qualifications to make me suitable for the job

I may not be done jobs are drying up I might pursue a masters or take a second degree. My current course will have me leaving a level 7 in Chemistry and a level 8 in Biology but no actual lab experience aside from the experiments I think I'll go for a lab technician course which has started in a college o the other side of Dublin that way I'll know all the practical techniques in detail and have all the back ground information too

I'm currently half way through my semester one exams then I'll have to start working on getting my thesis finished '~' it wont be too hard to do though I only have 2 lectures a day ^^ so I'll still be around here
