Which actor/actress do you think could play your favorite anime character?

i was talking with my friend about this yesterday and i thought it would make an interesting discussion. We talked about alot of them but the only actress we decided would be perfect was haley bennet to play chii from chobits.

I'm sort of principally against the very use of established actors.
Recognizing the actors tends to result in losing track of the characters, situation and plot of the movie, which in turn will result in it disappearing from your memory at a rapid rate.

well... i would think... ummm no anime should be made into a movie except DBZ where the actors could pass as saiyens... but most actors would mess up the characters rep, so i agree with zanroth

in no way could anyone be near as cool as they would have to be, to play a saiyen. But i think that maybe the rock could play a good guts.

My favourite Chara is shino from Naruto.
in the 2nd season it isnt hard to act him. everyone could do it! XD

I think what makes anime is because they DONT use people and is very detailed.But since thats not the point of this thread i think its very hard to find the right person.Sorry but i just cant picture people instead of drawings.

hmm...my fav anime character is Vegita (DBZ) and i don't think anybody could play him!!!

I've got vegeta hair aca...but no well known actor should be playing the parts of my favorite anime character. Instead I would be watching a cg movie.
