yes it does. they didn;t complete as it was not that much famous and already it is big. so cant tell if the aothor will give permission to make more anime.
Since this series is so long, Ive stalled starting it, my daughter watches the Adult swim version and I want to, but i think ill wait till its finished and then Ill start. there is so much great anime out there that it is hard to choose.
I am still watching it, and I am almost to the end.. :( I don't want it to end. The anime is so addicting!
if you haven't finished it . seams you are watching since and since.. just.. there aren't so many episodes and just 4 movie.. and is ended, no more made and no more will be made.

Yep, it ended. No offence to you guys, but the ending is TERRIBLE! Spoiler below. By the way, how the heck do you apply spoiler tags?
IY and Kagome bust out of the stone golem by using a Jewel Shard-enhanced Tessaiga's Kaze no Kizusoha (a WICKED attack, by the way. I should also mention that IY uses his purified demon form, which gives him his demon powers while having full control of himself and the Tessaiga.) The group them bands together and promises to kill Akago and, by proxy, Naraku. Touching moment, but the series ends with a random screen saying that the series is over and that you should read the manga to find out the ending. Big letdown.

ending wasn't so good basically a cliffhanger from volume 36 lol....
Yup and it has the WORST ending ever so I wouldn't recomend watching it. The beginning is pretty good, but as you get along there are more and more fillers. I'm almost done watching it so ya...

The end is near, but of the manga, the cap 522 is called "The Dead of Naraku" When the manga were finished, the anime continues (100 caps of anime more aprox)
