posting anime on youtube is violating the copyright law, and that goes even if you give credit to the company what-so-ever. Even though the companies prolly wont sue YouTube or anything, I guess they're just removing the videos to be on the safe side of the law in case something should happen *glares at ODEX* ...

I don't know if this only counts for music, but if you want to make something viewable/playable on the internet, then it has to be a clip under 30seconds

but yea, I kinda understand them for not wanting to be in the grey-zone

That helps me understand why youtube takes down all those videos, but do you know of any other site that I might legally be able to post anime on so my friends can watch them?? If not I understand why now.

hmmm... I don't think that veoh removes the anime ...or.. they actually do sometimes, but the users usually just reuploads it (and for some reason it seems to remain there for some reason). Don't really think that it becomes any less illegal just because of that, but I know that a lot of people take the opportunity to upload anime to veoh anyways.

erh... I don't really have any programs for converting since my computer is too slow for such tasks, but I think there's a program called AllToAvi or something like that

The best converter that I have ever used (and the only one that I reccomend) is MediaCoder. I handles it all.

Dailymotion seems to have a lax uploading policy. You can find all kinds of TV episodes uploaded there. It's worth a shot, mate.
