ok heres my thoughts of the fight....
i dont think saske is gonna beat itachi, my main reasons is because orochimaru couldnt beat itachi, remember oro flash back about the sharingan. His match against itachi, and it looked as tho itachi won so easily.
Now the only reason why saske manage to beat oro was because he was sick and weak at that time so he took the advantage.
So i somehow doubt saske will beat itachi, somethings bound to happen to spoil the rest of the fight to end it off.

even though you say that he was weaker, he was still strong(er) then before and sasuke beat him with ease too. So there's no telling what will happen.

But personally I think itachi's time has come. It would compensate Jiraya dying abit, if you could let Jiraya die, then the same would go for Itachi.

True that Sasuke may have trained for the time lapse and also have taken Oro's body for himself but..didnt Itachi beat the crap out of Oro like he was some genin?..that would mean that he was WEAK!..cause of that its only a small boost to idiotic sasuke...besides Itachi has to make him pay for killing Bomber Deidara(FUCK THAT I WAS PISSED WHEN I READ THAT-__-....so i think that sasuke gonna lose and Itachi is gonna fuck him up till he's completely given up -_-...

If Sasuke wins however..and somehow all the Akatsuki die..them imma quit Naruto and never watch/read it again -_-...

Since this thread is for the manga readers i'm not going to use spoiler tags, anyone who doesent want to know what happens dont read this...
After the last chapter I think that Sasuke got serious and is going to kill Itachi. I still see Itachi as the strongest ninja in the naruto world the story is not going to be so interesting. Naruto will lose interest in bringing Sasuke back. He may want to avenge his death but after he kills all the akatsuki what is going to happen? That will be a happy ending, unless they really want to end the series there. Opinions?

Dude in the manga Sasuke kills Oro so yea they are evenly matched.

Sasuke kills a seriously ill oro who was on verge of death, and in all honesty, he only did what Itachi did only absorbed Oro instead of chop his hand off, Itachi is still better in my eyes

Well I like Itachi as well and i think that he would win as well no doubt about that but then again Sasuke would put up a good fight thats what I think.
