I finally read the new chapter, and Gaara is the man! Even without his biju, he's still someone who shouldn't be taken lightly and the old Mizukage got to see that for himself. It's nice that in the end that Mizukage admitted that and truly acknowledged Gaara.:)

Gaara always surprises the bad guy when he shows something that he too just found about it he's really spontaneous and Naruto is always a little late but I think that's what all heroes do: coming at the last moment^^
