@DP Kabuto probably probably did put some special tag or jutsu on Madara and Kabuto did say that he would undo the edo-tensai. Wouldn't that be a crappy way for Madara to die? I think that Madara should at least defeat 1/2 kages before he is gone for good.
The war is practically over seeing as though Tobi's tailed beasts who were resurrected from edo-tensei have been 'put to rest' by Kabuto and Kyuubi and Naruto are getting along. I doubt that the series will be over until Sasuke and Naruto have a conversation which lasts longer than 2 shows in a row. :]

^kishi has stated several times(though not recently) that the last fight in naruto will be between him and sas-k

Yeah that fight will obviously be last match for the Naruto series.However Madara's 'perfect sussano' seems unstoppable......

but maybe kabuto did something extra special to madara like another seal or a chakra boost or something to keep him in play o.o' *prays for any of this* :D

He may have run out of ideas. Now that edo tensei plot is undone, it's gonna be tough for him to develop the story.

anyway, some thing are now confirmed, seems that what tobi told sasuke is not a lie
and the elders and danzo trusted itachi a lot, since he could had easily tell his parents and all, seeing that he was a double agent

this was one of the most powerful chapters in Naruto...imo

Just read the latest chapter and happy to see that Itachi died peacefully!
I didn't really learn much from the chapter other than that Itachi was black mailed into killing his clan to save Sasuke and that his parents accepted and didn't blame Itachi for anything.
In the first few pages Madara was about to wear out but I think he has some special jutsu or something to keep himself alive :D
