I haven't watched the TV series of ROD but I did randomly watch the OVA, which was about 3 episodes. It has good music, but there was no yuri to speak of in the OVA. It was good anyway though. I'm planning on watching the series eventually...

Agreed. And the people have really cool powers. ^^
I also really liked the intro song. It sounded kinda James Bond style. ^^

Ohh... That doens't sound too shabby. Guess I'll start watching it once I'm done with Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai - sorry no yuri, but one of the characters have the same voice actor as Nagisa from strawberry panic. :)

It’s a horror anime, the story is set in a small countryside village in japan where bizarre deaths are happening. The deaths are always somehow connected to the small group of main characters, that consist of the main protagonist; Keiichi Maebara and his class mates.

The anime is currently divided up in two seasons Higurashi no Naku Koro ni & Higurashi no Naku Koro Kai, I think a third season is coming up as well.

The story of the first season; Higurashi no Naku Koro ni mostly revolves around the strange deaths that are happening. In the second season it’s revealed that all the event that occurred in the first season happened in parallel universes, that can be undone by the young girl Rika Furude, which is reincarnated and send back in time after the village was wiped out in the first season.


I would highly recommend it if you like horror anime. It contain some element of drama and comedy aswell.
