Redemption by Drew Karpyshy
The Shining by Stephen King. It's just awesome, I love Stephen's horror and mystery books.
I trained myself to hold in my tears no matter how sad I might feel. But for all this time, I have always wanted to cry.I have always wanted to smile freely, without having to put a mask over my heart.~Aqua Timez - Mask/ Bleach 30th ending~

It has been a couple of months since I last updated my current books. Since then, I have read:
- A Conspiracy of Kings by Megan Whalen Turner
- Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay
- The Summoner (Chronicles of the Necromancer #1) by Gail Z. Martin
- The Blood King (Chronicles of the Necromancer #2) by Gail Z. Martin
- The Broken Kingdoms (The Inheritance Trilogy #2) by N. K. Jemisin
- The Commoner by John Burnham Schwartz
- I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore
- Nocturnes by Kazuo Ishiguro
- The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle
Of those, I liked the writing style of Martin the least. It read too much like a poorly written fanfic (too much detail on how attractive these characters were, characters were a little too transparent), but the storyline itself had promise. I would like to take the books and give them a good editing.
I was also under-whelmed by The Last Unicorn, which is supposedly one of the greatest fantasy novels of all time. I never got really into it, I never felt for the characters or had to find out what happened next. Cute, easy read, but meh.
I'm currently reading The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley and The Kingdom of Gods by N. K. Jemisin. :)
"The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination." - Marion Zimmer Bradley, 'The Fall of Atlantis'
"You keep saying that, and it keeps NOT happening!" - Lestat de Lioncourt from 'The Vampire Lestat'

@ Yoko - I've had the hunger games for months now and haven't read them yet. How are you liking it so far? :)
Currently I'm reading The book of Lost Fragrances by M.J Rose and it's pretty interesting. There's tombs, Egyptian curses, fragrances that are lethal and deadly, a mysterious tome of perfumes, an heiress to a wealthy perfume business who's clairvoyant to boot. I think it makes for a pretty exciting plot, it's a pity though I haven't been able to find the time to read it as much.

Married to: Married?! I'm still a kid you know!!
Chicken Soup for Teenage Soul
I really love the stories!! :D they're so touching~
"Sorry, but it doesn't matter if you're a woman or even a child. I don't go easy on anybody who hurts my comrades"-Gray Fullbuster
"All I need is the power to be able to protect my comrades. So long as I can have the strength to do that, I don't care if I'm weaker than everyone in the world."-Erza Scarlet

"Constitutional Law" by E. Drumeva.
I must learn 500 pages until 23.04 which doesn't make me happy. :-(
