Finishing up Terry Prachett's "Monstruous Regiment." Very amusing book.
If there's one thing I know for sure about the world, it's: It's on crack.
Some days you're the hero, others you have to be the Heero behind the hero.
...Just Won't Stop Until the World Ends...

atm im reading..... 50 shades of grey! lol jks dont even noe what the book is about :L
im reading Inkheart :P
I've been devouring books lately.
Finished:
-Among Others by Jo Walton - Fairies and magic in 1970s England and Wales. Really well done take on fairies and the cultural divide between E and W.
-Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher - Really emotional book about a girl who commits suicide and leaves behind 13 tapes telling her story and how it all came to that point.
-Empire of Ivory by Naomi Novik (Temeraire Book #4) - I love love love this series. Napoleonic Wars + Dragons = AMAZING.
-The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory - Was hesitant about starting this one, but I really enjoyed the court intrigue. Absolutely hate Anne Boleyn, so it was nice to already know from history that she gets her just desserts in the end. :)
- Victory of Eagles by Naomi Novik (Temeraire Book #5) - Again, GUH. <3
- The Innocent Mage by Karen Miller (Kingmaker, Kingbreaker Book One) - Really nicely done. Enjoyed the magic and the divide between the two races cohabitating in a densely populated city.
Currently Reading:
-Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit by Nahoko Uehashi - I absolutely love the anime. Balsa is probably my favorite female character ever. The book is just as great.
- Under Heaven by Guy Gavriel Kay - Fantasy elements meet Chinese Tang Dynasty-esque elements. This book is reminding me all over again about how much I love Kay's work. If you like fantasy and Asian history, pick it up.
- Redwall by Brian Jacques - A classic that I sadly have not read before. My boyfriend told me that he read this as a kid, and I'm deeply disturbed by that! The writing style is clearly directed at kids, but it's got some pretty dark stuff in it. Like Jacques was like, "Yeah, there's death and war and whatnot, but I mean, they're mice and animals, not humans so it's okay!" Enjoying it nonetheless.
"The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination." - Marion Zimmer Bradley, 'The Fall of Atlantis'
"You keep saying that, and it keeps NOT happening!" - Lestat de Lioncourt from 'The Vampire Lestat'
