Price playstation 3

What do you think about it and what is a reasonable price you think?

I heard it's gonna by like 800Euro's or something ~_~.

I would buy it if it's 300E(375$) or less.

wow last time i heard it was gonna be around 500 and i would not pay more than 3-400 for it....it costs like 1000 u.s. dollars to make and yet they're selling it for less how does that work?

yeah i also heard its gona be around the 400-500 euros, i would buy it for 400, but 500 is a bit too mush, plus i have to get a HD tv to play on max grafs. and HD tvs cost around the 900-1000 euros XD, oo man life is hardÂÂ* ;D .

Well HDTV's are getting cheaper and cheaper everyone is buying them. It's better not to buy HDTV's now most HDTV's now are not good at all, some even say they are HDTV compaitable but they're not -_-.

They need to develop this a bit more first I think...

They say its now gonna be $600 for the 60 gig version. Thats rediculous. I wish it would come down about $200-$300 :(

i thought it was like $700 for the 60 gig version and like 600 for the 20 gig isn't it? or something like that... if it were like the price of the ps2 when it first came out i wouldn't mind... but it seems so expensive... and i think the controlers were ugly well the bomerang one was ugly

The PS 2 was around $500 in Canada when it first came out. Then there was like a massive stock shortage around christmas and people were buying/selling them for like $1500 to 2 grand!! I even heard of one dumass paying $3500 for one!!!

Anyway, if the release of the PS3 is anything like it was for the PS2 I wouldn't count on it selling for less than $600 initially. If your patient (and smart) and wait for the hype to die off it'll be selling for under 500 after one year on the market at most.

Wherever did you get the idea that it cost $1000 to make? They would have scrapped the project ages ago if that were the case. There is no way in hell they would sell it for half of the production cost!! It would retail for $1500 or more, which no one in there right mind would pay. Sony would never produce/market a product that they know would fail. They are out to make a PROFIT. Bottom line.
