    The Official Gundam Fan Club

If the admins/mods would rather this be split up into seperate categories for each show, just let me know and I will change this to a specific one. But it seems to be more effiecent to do them all in one. Anyways, if you are a fan of one, you usually like most of the other Gundams.

    Welcome Gundam Fans!

    Gundam Seed (2002, 50 episodes)

The confrontation between the Earth Alliance (Naturals) and Zaft (Coordinators), which originated in economic friction, reached a stalemate. Ultimately, the two sides opted for the last resort of diplomacy - in other words, they went to war. Our story begins roughly a year later. Heliopolis, a resource satellite belonging to a neutral nation, is suddenly attacked by a Zaft mobile suit force. Their goal is to seize the Atlantic Alliance's newest Gundam mobile suits, which the Alliance has produced here amid total secrecy. The raid is successful, and Zaft captures four of the Gundams. Kira Yamato, a student at an industrial college, is drawn into the conflict when he is reunited with his old friend Athrun Zala. Tragically, Kira finds that his comrade Athrun and the other Coordinators are now his enemies. For patriotism's sake, Athrun sets out to defeat Kira. One against four... the battle of the Gundams begins!

    Gundam Wing (1995, 49 Episodes)

It's the year A.C. (After Colony) 195. Over the past century, humanity has established a number of space colonies, giant wheel-shaped constructs that are home to millions of people. These colonies are grouped in clusters at the five Lagrange points, areas of relative stability in Earth orbit.

For decades, while the Earth's surface was wracked by war and civil strife, the peace and quiet of the space colonies presented an attractive alternative for war-weary settlers. When the terrestrial wars ended, a new world government was established, a "United Earth Sphere Alliance" committed to bringing about peace through force of arms. In the name of peace and justice, the Alliance seized control of the colonies.

Under the pretext of restoring order to the colonies, the Alliance staged a second round of military intervention, using humanoid fighting machines called mobile suits to crush all opposition.

Mobile Suit Gundam (1979, 43 Episodes)

Due to overpopulation on earth, humans strike out into space and create enormous colonies called "Sides". Years later one of these Sides declares a war of independance on Earth. Calling itself the Duchey of Zeon it launches an all out assault. Amuro Ray, a citizen of Side 7 discovers his father's Mobil Suit. A Suit unlike anyone had ever seen before. This was Gundam. Amuro, piloting the Gundam, and the crew of the White Base fight for Earth against the forces of Zeon in the One Year War that takes place in the Universal Century 0079.

Gundam Seed Destiny (2004, 51 Episodes)

Cosmic Era 70: The Bloody Valentine incident sparked a war between PLANTs and the Earth Alliance. Eventually, they achieved an uneasy truce after the battle over Jachin Due. However, the hatred between Naturals and Coordinators runs deep and many could not fully accept the peaceful resolution.

During a battle that took place in ORB during the last war, Shin Asuka and his family were running for a evacuation ship when an explosion killed his parents and sister. All he had left of his family was his sister's cellphone.

Cosmic Era 73: The tensions between Naturals and Coordinators flare up into another conflict. Shin Asuka, disillusioned by the ideals of ORB, has since joined ZAFT as a mobile suit pilot and will prove to play an instrumental role in this new war…

    Gundam X (1996, 39 Episodes)

Gundam X is the story of the survivors of the Seventh Space War who try to eke out a living within the ruins of their civilization. "Vultures", scavengers of war material and ruined cities, roam the wasted Earth. Unknown to all, the leaders of the warring factions plot to regain their lost glory and using enhanced humans, "Newtypes", they search to dominate the world. In opposition to this, Jamil Neate, hero of the war and former pilot of the monstrous Gundam X; the plucky teen Garrod Ran; and Newtype girl Tiffa Adil aim to find a way to save the human race from another apocalypse.

    G Gundam (1994, 49 Episodes)

After being plunged into worldwide chaos, the surviving countries fight each other for domination using mobile fighters.

Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memories (1991, 13 Episodes)

Three years of peace have followed the Earth Federation's victory over the Duchy of Zeon. Now, in the year 0083, the last remnants of Zeon begin their plan for revenge by stealing a prototype Gundam armed with nuclear weapons. Can rookie Federation pilot Kou Uraki challenge the legendary ace Anavel Gato, and prevent the cataclysmic rebirth of Zeon?

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (1985, 50 Episodes)

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam followed the story of the original Gundam. At U.C. 0087, after 7 years of the One Year War, another cruel war commences between A.E.U.G., Titans and Axis.

Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam described the conflict between A.E.U.G., Titans and Axis.

Also, if you would like to view reviews for any of these series they can also be found at AnimeNfo.Com

If you want any others added I know there are more out there. Just tell me the title and I will do the rest. :)

Anyways, if you are a fan of even just one come and join. Gundam series have been some of my favorite for awhile now. They are always full of lots of giant robot goodness.

I have an idea for a rank system if everyone wants to do one, but if anyone has an idea it would be welcome.

Here is the official banner of the club for the moment. If you are able to make a better one, or just another one feel free so we have some variety. ;)

LOL! Yes, Seed Destiny was a disappointment after Seed. But some of the older ones are good. I would recommend watching Mobile Suit Gundam. It is old, but good. And the movies for it were good too. I really enjoyed Gundam 0083 too. It had some cool gundams and some good fight scenes too. Plus it is only 13 episodes so you are in and out. ;)

hmm, i think the most interesting topic for gundam fan those days are the technical arguments on the Gundam Seed/Destiny's gundams (well, some of the ones from before Wing too, but as i haven't seen it yet, i will preserve my judgement) i think most of the gundams are fundamantally flawed (for example, the G weapons from the start of Gundam Seed, with the exception of Aegis, once you knock out their guns or beam saber they have, they are totally vulnerble to enemy attack, this opinion excludes the missiles on Buster or sometimes Dual and the projectile needles from Blitz as these are depletable and with careful dodging one will be able to exhaust their supply and then go in for the kill), why do they not start out with gundam types like Freedom (strip them of hand guns, they still have other gunnerys in store, don't want to count in Providence, ya the DRAGOONs are pretty cool, but Providence look pretty pathetic once Kira shoot down most of it)?
