Very well drawn, I loved his artwork in Hikaru No Go, and it was only better here. Dark and detailed, it fit the setting well. Characters were believable, interesting concepts left and right, and a storyline that easily pulled you in and was addicting.
Not much more you can ask for in a manga.

I love it because it is so unique and actually involves intelligence rather then just violence.
The characters are some of the best I have ever seen, so well designed and with a lot of depth.

the storyline is awesome, it make you wanna see more and more. The drawing is awesome and the idea of a shinigami and the death note is a different from any other anime.

I adore Death Note because simply I just enjoy thriller or suspense type genres XD. Death Note was also a bit unpredictable in cases, well at least to me it was haha...Really when it came to *ahem* main characters demises. Oh yeah and also the animation and nice character designs are awesome too in it.
