    Default making gifs

I tried not to make a new thread but I guess it can't be helped.

I've been trying to make a short gif using some video I have. I used the directions linked on gifninja by a member on this site but I have a problem that when I try to right click "save as" the only option I get is "save as picture" (which for obvious reasons doesn't work like I want it to). Anyone have any suggestions?

All using File>save does is save the webpage. The gif I would like to save is displayed on the site and it says to right click it and "save as". I just have no clue as to why my computer isn't allowing me to use that option.

Or if you right click and view image in new page, you can save as a gif. It should save as a .gif if it is one and is online.

I was alittle confused if you were asking offline or online

Thanks people. I'll try the video converter. I was hoping someone had a similar issue and figured it out since this has happened with me trying to save gifs from online sources other times and it was quite annoying.
