I don't like the psp-3000, apparently custom firmware doesn't work too well or at all with that version.

Still the PSP-4000 at the first page looks nice. I'd probably get it, IF I can get custom firmware on it, as well as if the games on it are worth it.

the custom firmware on PSP 3000 is fully functional with only a few bugs...and the fact that if you turn off the PSP completely you have to do the hack all over again but who cares XD The PSP 2000 has permanent custom firmware e.e

honestly I doubt the PSP 4000 will have custom firmware...if it does it'll take at the very least 1 year

You do realise that there is a diference between "Custom Firmware" and "Sony Official PSP Firmware". The psp firmware of the psp-3000 and 4000, would mostly likely be Official Sony PSP firmware, which isn't at all hackable. This means that you cannot download and put PSP iso's(Games) on the PSP, you'll have to actually buy them.

well, i didn't talk about the 4000 one, so you might be thinking different thing when reading my post just now. i'm talking about how you don't like psp-3000 not about if you can get the costum firmware for psp-4000 or not. well sorry if i need to cut the paragraph i'm quoting to make you understand which one i'm quoting.sorry

Nope because I do have custom firmware myself and my psp version is the psp-2000
(I can pretty much play any downloaded game with the latest custom firmware) which ends up being the more "stable" version for custom firmware.

Of course, custom firmware is also not too bad on the psp-3000 and if possible 4000, but like I said, its just not as stable as the psp-2000 or the original psp.
Therefore this proves my point, I dislike the PSP-3000 due to it being not as stable with custom firmware like the psp-2000. Although in terms of models, the psp 3000 is better if you simply just buy your games and same goes with 4000.

Not if you have fast download speeds and no I wouldn't watch anime on a psp. My eyes would hurt reading the sub titles.

but your gonna need some sort of credit or debit card to pay for the games and a internet connection

lmao the Playstation Store in general has used that system since the PS3 came out so its not much of a bother on the PSP go XD just log onto your PSN account and there ya go plus they have PSN point cards that you can get at stores if you dont have credit/debit
