Where do the movies fit in?
Well, after much deliberation I've finally decided to start watching Naurto.
I'm currently in the process of downloading a torrent containing all 220 episodes; but what I'd like to know is where do the movies fit in the story?
It would appear that there are quite a few movies, are they mainly compilation movies, side stories that bear no real importance or what?
Any help will be much appreciated.

They're all side stories with little relation to the episodes at all.
If you really like Naruto and want to see more of it you should watch them but they're only really for the big fan.
