Get into private torrent sites

Also i just had one last question i live in Canada and according to some sites such as cbc(its a government new channel) say that downloading isnt illegal in Canada. So i just wanted to be sure about this.

I doubt that downloading is illegal in Canada. You wouldn't be able to access the Internet then :P . I cannot speak for Canadian laws, but bit torrent is a way to download files. Let me get this out there: BIT TORRENT IS NOT ILLEGAL. IT IS A DOWNLOAD PROTOCOL. Bit torrent, like anything, can be used for illegal acts, but itself is NOT illegal.

I recommend everyone to take a look at newsgroups, in Holland it is LEGAL! to download mp3, movies etc. (except software,games) it is illegal to upload them though. With newsgroups you can download at max speed all the time. Not that much anime available though :(

i tried once.. but i didnt really use them much
and there were a bunch of corrupt files T_T
but the speed was amazing...

The speed is really really fast on Usenet, but the idea of paying to download a file once in a while just doesn't work for me.

Yah...but I just have one thing to add. Demonoid is NOT a public tracker. It's torrents can be used by anyone on the net. The whole point of demonoid is the community aspect of uploading and giving back to the community, and having direct access to all their torrent files, rather than checking various site. Also, you get the features of uploading to their tracker, and keping track of your torrents, upload/download ratio, etc.

Noridc-T for misc. crap
Blackcats-games for games.

Private Trackers = phail...Demonoid/Similar Sites work out the best, imo.
