your first anime

What was the first anime you ever saw? What impact did it have on you? Did it make you want to see anime more?

My first anime was either Dragon ball Z or Pokemon. I think it was DBZ. I first saw it when I was in 2nd grade, and it was pretty awesome. I love the characters, with Goku and Piccolo as my favorites. There wasen't alot of people in my school who knew what anime was, but every guy knew DBZ. It was pretty good. Then when i was in fifth grade, i saw a Shonen Jump with Goku on the cover, i bought it, and i got into anime that way. So it was good that saw it, if not i guess i woulden't be into anime.

i can't really remember mine but i think its ghost fighter? i liked that anime.. dennis was my favorite.. i even collected trading cards before ... but its not the anime that made me really want to watch anime... i think Ah! My Goddess! was the one that i realy got hoked and when i finished it, i really looked for more.....:)

i think mine is digimon or pokemon..ive seen them when i was like 6years old or something like that...digimon was confusing for me at that time LOL

Most probably ASTRO BOY, but the one I have a clear memory of is BATTLE OF THE PLANETS in around 1973.

Fruit baskets was the first for me........both in anime and manga.....but the anime was first......
and after that I began to see MORE and MORE.............and I new how I really liked it coz I watched it over 8 times so.......

Hmm... My first anime was either Dirty Pair or Project A-Ko hahan then DearS =] wow really weird considering the anime I watch now. My fist manga was...Demon Diary...I think.

I don't remember at all....but it was either pokemon, digimon, or dbz....I think. Bad memory...haha.

Probably Battle of the Planets(Gatchaman), followed by Jim Terry's Force Five robot anime dub(Danguard Ace and Starvengers were my favorite).

the first anime i guess was Sailor Moon(when i was 5 years old back then,lol)actually i cant really understand it since i only watch anime,for my age i was only attracted to the colors of their sailor suit...but well the anime that really leaves an impact with me is DB/DBZ....even in my age today im still addicted to watch it on the tv over again...lol if im not mistaken DB/DBZ was released in the year 1989 which is the same year i was born...but i watched it when i was maybe about 6 or 7 yrs old.

i dunno if you ppl would agree to me but the Dragon Ball series specially the DBZ one really is an ICON...which anime fans will sure to enjoy despite its AGE..lol

Digimon , i was hooked on it. I might've seen some other animes before, but i can't remember clearly. I missed a lot of school days because of Digimon.
