So, we all know Light is dead
my question: how was his dead? do you guys like it when he was dead or your sad?

well, it was sad, i know he killed L, but it is sad
trying to escape was stupid, he know he`s was gonna dead
but now your opinions ^-^

In my opinion he could have survive.
it was not his fault it was the other dude fault
that didnt do like light told him. so that's how N found out that light was kira
plus if ryuk have help him just a little bit light could have survive.
but ryuk since the beginning told him that he wont help him..
so his dead was fine he die like all those people that he killed... by a heart attack
and it was better death than be in jail..... that's my opinion ^_^

I think we all just wanted Kira to be successful all the time and eventually control the world :P but sadly things don't go the way you want :( I really wish it was L that caught him instead of those two kids though.. I wasn't too pleased with that..

Since the very first episode I wished him death. So the ending made me pretty happy. Annoying jerks should die in animu for the educational purposes =p

first of all i have to say sorry for all light fan but i have to say this...
i think he's pathetic, trying to escape and requesting ryuuku to help him

c'mon light supposed to be a guy with full of pride, but seing him die like that make me disappointed. he dies with no pride at all

I can't stress enough how disapointed I was with the ending. It was rubbish. I was cheering for Light all the time. I was also kinda a irritated about those two brats finishing Light off. Could have been L. OH well, they haven't made an alternative ending to it. So I'll be sending threatening emails to the company to make one.

Hmm... I've been meaning to say something on this topic for a long time ^^ (Thanks Sharingan^_~)

Well, I think Light lost his head in the end when everything started to fall apart for him. He could have written Near's name a lot more casually than that. It was obvious that he wouldn't succeed the way he tried. And while Near had a heart attack, he could have slipped out unnoticed. By the way,(if it hasn't been made obvious as yet) I wanted Light to triumph. Actually I object to the very idea of bringing in Near and Mellow. It should have ended with L. I like the idea of L bringing down Light a lot more than those two foiling him.
And if Mikami hadn't been so careless, he probably could have pulled it off. Light shouldn't have depended upon him so much, no matter how competent he proved himself. He should have foreseen all possibilities and arranged for a back up plan. Well, that's all I've got to say at the moment. Maybe I'll remember something later.
