The End of Death Note *spoilers*

i did not like that L was killed :( , but i think that was the best ending without L , and i love it

and now i dont know what anime i am gone watch because this was spectacular :(

well... yha, he went crazy. i hate it when i see some obvious strategy and the character doesnt take it. T_T i was kind of sad that he died, but since i didn't care who won and was like ryuk, sort of helping, but on no side, i didn't care who won. as long as it was entertaining, i didn't care.

the two worst endings ive seen was in death note and code geass, light got a pitiful death and lelouch one of the few characters that i liked through out the series also died opposite to kururugi suzaku the only character that i didnt like...

i liked the ending, flat out. killing Light so he wouldn't have to sit with him in prison until he died or relinquished the notebook was definately something Ryuk would do. i have to admit i was surprised when Matsuda shot Light like crazy...i didn't think he'd shoot first. i didn't honestly care that Light died. in fact, i think it was better that he died than going to prison, just because i think things would've taken a lot longer to settle down if he'd lived. although i hated that L died, i didn't mind that Near (and Mello i guess) caught Light. through Near and Mello, L, in a way, did catch Light.
so the ending satisfied me.

I saw a resemblance between the endings of Code Geass and Death Note as well. And both of them disappointed me :/

I don't see how L caught Light "through" Mello and Near. They are separate individuals, with their own methods and tactics.

Dying maybe better than going to prison(especially seeing it from Light's perspective, his ego etc.), but I still think he could have triumphed in the end.

I don't even think that L could survive, through he tried to do his best to save himself but finally he was a lazy guy after all!

both death note n code geass have similar main character..both want to change the world for better. yet both of them finally die. i want kira n lulu to live...its nt like i like evil..but can c his way of changin the world are full with determinant.

i dont get it at the ending of death note...why ryuk write down kira name..if he write down people name like that sure he wil turn to dust. shinigami cant kill people before the time that the people have to die. what i think is..at first ryuk know kira wil die at what time and at what date when he explain to kira about the shinigami eye.

that time n that date maybe refer to kira at the last episode when he traped by near. thats why ryuk can write down kira name without ryuk turn to dust.

I mean i kno he was a bad guy .. and bad guys also loses
but .. if they have thought of a better ed like burning the death note and then he will be a good guy ..
but they killed him .. :(

If it wasn't for L, and if light didn't give Mikami so much responsibility, Near and Mellow would never have caught Light. Personally I liked the ending, but light was my favourite character and I wanted him to win. :D

But I disagree when people say the endings of Death note and Code geass are similar. Yes, they both died, but for totally different reasons...It was Lelouch's plan to be killed by Suzaku, whereas Light just lost control.

After Light defeat L the story getting boring cuz Light make a lot of mistakes when he face Near and Melo like in the last ep what make he think that Near wouldn't take the real note book and replace it with the fake on, he not as smart as the time he facing L at all. Anyway in the end is pretty sad cuz i don't want Light to die like this it's really disapoint me T_T (sob)
