I heard pope will shortly have a visit to England , that is great , ...
... but his holiness cost too much money , something about £14 million ( yeah , you right , that's a lot of money ! ) .
I wonder why UK taxpayers have to pay the cost ?
the majority are protestants then again why they have to pay ? some even say Catholics should pay the cost .
£14 million ? hmmm , I never could thought such holy man , cost much , and most of costs goes to security , isn't he a saint ? I'm sure god will protect him , and isn't he poor lover , then why so much costs ? why the man of people isn't among men ?

discuss and debate , tell us how a good pope should be or if you were pope what would you do .
tell us about your opinion on current pope .
tell us if Popery should exist or not .
or even tell us what's going in popes visit , popes plans and etc .

Ok. I actually had a chance to be in Papal Audience, in a cardinals chamber, singing for the current Pope, Benedict. I do not believe the man is evil, but I believe he's put in a position to be hated.

I'm a Christian, and I do not believe in the "Pope" as a position, because it actually goes against the Bible. No ONE MAN can be the source of God's will, except Christ. We all, everyone and everything should have a connection to God... for He is actually supposed to be the purest form of Love and Life. (This is why I'm not a Catholic). I don't pay homage to humans who 'have rites to God', because we ALL have rites to God. :)

And ffs, we do not know if he is a pedophile. I've never heard anything about him being anywhere near young boys. Just because of the Catholic Priest Scandal, doesn't mean that every Catholic sanctioned man is also molesting children. Those particular Priests are a disgrace to Catholicism, not Priests or the Pope in general.

Ok, first of all... those letters exist from cases in the USA, which states of two cases against some Priest. I didn't say that the scandals weren't occuring, I simply stated that not ALL Priests are molestors.

There was a thread in the debate section (we cant post in now, because it's gravedigging) about Priests and their Code of Celibacy and how they molest people. You should read some of the posts in that thread. I'm sure we'll get another debate on that started soon enough... Although I find molestation of any sort, to be absolutely horrifying and inexcusable, that STILL doesn't mean that just because some Priests do it, that they all do it.

And none of us know Benedict personally... therefore, there should be no claim to whether or not he is evil or good. Speculation can be ignorance.

The organisation as a whole bares partial responsibility due to the cover ups and suppression of the scandals but to say the pope himself is a Pedophile is just an inflammatory claim based solely in ignorance and hate it's like saying that because one Muslim from a peaceful congregation resolved to become a Jihadist his Imam is also a Jihadist. Put the shoe on the other foot and think carefully about how it would feel if someone else attacked the spiritual facet of your identity with unfounded claims, before making them yourself. If there was any hard evidence to prove that the pope is a Pedophile, then yes your argument would be justified but when armed with "evidence" in the form of opinion lies and doctored facts published on the internet where it is free from any scrutinizing or challenge no less, your argument is nothing more than a wild accusation.

I'm not much of a debater as English is not my mother tongue , I might made some silly grammar mistakes , may have lack some of words , all of them leads to limiting expresses , besides I'm not christian , but just know somewhat priests around the world are alike .

Well no, I completely disagree with the RIDICULOUS costs of his travel. He is not God... why the hell would a country pay that much money to have the Pope visit? England isn't even that religious. It's so ludicrous I don't even know what to say. I don't mind the Pope as a person maybe, but his position is just wrong. I despise the Vatican, what it stands for, and the 'Church' most of the time as a whole. By creating all the rules and stipulations, they are exiling the very point of Christ. I wouldn't even pay a couple of hundred dollars to see the Pope. He's just a man... like the rest of us. Holy he may be, but he's no holier than my Pastor, or a beggar on the street. Jesus was a simple carpenter, and became the Son of God. Therefore, I do not believe in all of this commercialized crap... =/
