It makes sense you know why? Yagura was the host of three-tails, and we all know what happens when the beast is removed from its host. It also explains why three-tails didn't have a host when Deidara and Tobi captured it. Moreover, remember that Ao confirmed Yagura being manipulated by a genjutsu (Tsukuyomi perhaps?) Yagura is also depicted as a kind person, but Zabuza tried to assasinate him to end his reign of terror....I think he actually tried to assasinate Madara, who was responsible for such terror. So far it adds up nicely.

If Madara somehow took over Yagura's body through genjutsu and unseal its Jinchuuriki functions, then it explains why three-tails were free of host. But there's a catch: what is Madara's motivation in taking Yagura's body? and why didn't he capture three-tails back then?

well it is said that madara was the unknown mizukage, probably third, yagura was the fourth mizukage.
and as you said yagura was a kind person so what was the reason for such bloodshed and cruelty in Kirigakure at the time ?

as for the reason of taking yagura's body, we know only four people who were truely capable of controling tailed beasts, shodaime, madara, yagura and killer bee.
shodaime is dead,madara is a mere shell of his former self, and considering killerbee a kid at that time, it leaves only yagura which has a perfect body capable of controling/hosting a the tailed beast...

I think it's logical to presume that Kishi will tie the story to one of the loose ends opened at the very beginning of the Naruto: the bloody Mist village and Zabuza's trial of assasination. Plus everyone in the ninja world assumes that Kirigakure is the base of Akatsuki, so that adds up Madara's involvement.

I also expect Orochimaru's involvement soon. Something is missing without him in the story, and I think, Madara's physical existence has something to do with Orochi's experiments.

well itachi found him while he was messing with Kirigakure plus his mask is kinda like Kirigakure Anbu...

and i think Zetsu is the source of madara's reincarnation and stuff and he depends on zetsu so much

but he can transplant another eye on his left eye cause he got a bunch of them or is it impossible once you shut it and you can't use the sharingan forever even if it's a different eye...sorry i'm still confuse about this izanagi and "shut forever" stuff...

well that eye which is used for Izanaghi will be stricken blind and will be closed tight forever. so the user cannot translplant another eye cuz the eye is already closed.

if his left eye wasnt closed forever, considering his stockpile of sharingans, he would have transplanted a sharingan long time ago.
so i guess not, he doesnt have access to his EMS,plus his left eye is shut forever, so he can only transplant Rinnegan to his right eye.
which may cost him his space/time jutsu
but then again it maybe is possible to transplant anything other than sharingan (Rinnegan or Byakugan) to his left eye
