Death or Glory Character Profiles

If anyone is interested in taking part in the Death or Glory role play they may submit their character profiles here. A guide to the different characters classes can be found here and a guide to setting organisations and weapons can be found here

A profile must consist of
1. The character's name, class and the organisation they belong to.
2. Any extra skills and equipment belonging to them.
3. A physical description of the character and a picture (optional).
4. A short biography.

Once we have enough players to begin the RP I will open the game in the main RP forum

One word of advice, pay attention to the other players characters and try to insure that the team you put together is more balanced than biased to a specific character archetype it will give your own character more unique roles to fill and allow the team to adapt to the various obstacles I may throw at you ;)

Bio
Jargen was a smart child born to a lower middle class family at his fathers instructions he studied hard to achieve high enough grades to get into the administorum and become a "made man" However after qualifying as an adept his found his job with it's heavy workload and rigid schedule to be soul crushing despite the good wages and to make matters worse, it was a life time job that he wasn't allowed to quit! Like many of his compatriots he joined the PDF reserve to find do once a week and for one weekend every month he could escape from the never ending lists of data he has to file and forward to his superior. During training it was found that he had a knack for operating the stubber and was quite accurate when firing from the hip and shoulder so he was made the dedicated heavy weapons gunner for his squad. In his free time he likes to indulge in his interest of history, sneaking out copies of unpublished files from archeological digs investigating the earliest human settlements on Lucan V and the possibility that it was previously colonized by long extinct aliens.

Biography
Kags was born to a farming family in one of the rural regions on Lucan V. Because his elder brother was going to inherit the farm he no future in his home town and moved to the city when he was 18. Life was tough for the first year as he floated from minimum wage job to minimum wage job and finding himself short of cash one day he made the mistake of trying to shoplift a bottle of whiskey. He was caught and ordered to pay a fine and serve for one year with the PDF reserve. He enjoyed the experience so much that he decided to stay on once his community service was served Despite his bulk he is quite capable of baring loads and as a result was assigned to be Jargon Blake's loader.

Eventually Kags managed to find himself a steady Job with the public transport service he has completed training in the use of ground buses, hover buses and is currently a driver on the suburban metro line.

Biography
Roberto was one of the so called Diehards as soon as he turned 16 he joined the PDF determined to be inducted into the guard within his first year. Pushed himself to be the best in all fields breaking records in fitness tests and getting high marks in all of his combat training he was tipped to be inducted into the guard but weeks prior to selection of new guards men a faulty grenade with a short fuse exploded in his face during training and cost him his right eye because of this he was deemed unfit to serve in the guard despite the fact that guards men often lose eyes in combat and continue to serve.

Roberto continued his service with the PDF hoping that one day through hard work he would be inducted onto the guard despite his disability however even with commendations from numerous commanding officers it was never to happen. Roberto currently holds the rank of Sargent although he is more than qualified he was never promoted to be an officer being seen as far too caustic and slap happy to have proper authority over men. Roberto also serves as captain of the regimental boxing club and fencing instructor for the other Sargents in his regiment.

Biography
At the Age of 16 Luke was conscripted to serve 5 years in the PDF he wasn't really motivated to excel especially since it might mean he'd end up serving in the Imperial Guard and with a serious lack of Women in his Life. However, during his final year he was reassigned to the infamous Roberto the bruiser St. Nazier and found himself pushing himself to the limit in order to avoid getting a sound beating at the hands of the diehard and as a result he was inducted into the Guard along with the rest of his squad.

The training and indoctrination was brutal the constant bombardment of anti chaos and alien messages along with the other propaganda led him to channel his anger at having to serve in the guard and the physical regime he had to bare into a terrifying hatred of the enemies of the Empire making him a fearsome foe in combat. Despite this he still retained his lazy characteristics and as a result of annoyance at his lazy side and fear of his warrior side his Sargent made him a plasma gunner in the hope that volatile weapon might incinerate him one day

Biography
Alicia hails from one of Aristocratic families of Lucan V the head of her family holds a permanent seat on the board of Governors. Like her brothers she opted to enroll at the Officers Academy and become an officer in the Imperial guard despite the reservations of her parents. Alicia received average grades and graduated without distinction she was assigned to the 3rd platoon of the 2nd company with in the Lucanian 12th as an NCO before receiving a full commission and being placed in charge of the eight platoon.

Things seemed to be looking up for Alicia at that point she intended to lead from the rear and enjoy a high profile prestigious job without having to do much fighting. However fate conspired to thwart her efforts at every turn, each attempt she made to move herself away from the fighting backfired and landed her in the thick of it instead as a result of having to fight for her life on so may occasions she has become one of the most famous officers in the Lucanian Guard and is tipped to take over command of the Lucanian 12th on the retirement of Colonel Lenk. Although praised by the public she is despised by the troops she commands known as the ice queen for her snobby and aloof manner she is quick tempered and quite often carries out summary executions on her troops for the slightest infractions or failures

Lucian was born somewhere around in the country side on lucan V
He was conscripted into the PDF join when he was 16
At first he wasnt happy about it but in a few week he noticed that he liked to be a soldier
He got to be one of the best in his squad and was picked to be a imperial guard that year, but he had to leave his girlfriend behind.
He fought in many battles and eventually became a sargent
He lead his team bravely and proved himself to be a capable leader and was promoted to lieutenant
A few years later he met with his girlfriend she joined the medical corps hoping to seeing again him and they married.

Lucian is seen as being anti social he keeps to himself.
He doesnt like attending officers parties and only opens up to a few people who are close to him
Many of his peers see him as a grumpy snob but his troops know better he is brave leader that fights by their side in every battle.

Physical description:
By his 50th birthday John already changed a considerable portion of his body to mechanics and trough all the wars he changed more and more and is now almost completely robotic. His relatively large size and weight rarely cause him problems because robotic implants in his spine and legs make him really fast and flexible. Along with that replacements, he replaced his eyes with a miniature camera with a considerable quality, zoom and night vision so he can fix electronics in all conditions. He expanded his memory and enhanced logic part of his brain for faster computing of mathematical assignments and reactions. Mechadendrites are fast and strong, capable of incapacitating a man trough Orichalcum armour with a well placed hit which John found really useful in one occasion. John has 2 power circuits, one to power systems that keep his biological components alive and another one to run his mechanical parts. Despite the fact that small solar cell system is enough to power biological power circuit his mechanical battery needs to be refilled from day to day basis if he's constantly using a lot of systems (i.e. in battle or mending a mining facility). Biological components (mainly his brain) are enclosed in special casings to provide them more protection should he ever get squished by mechanical part that fell off a building. His arms similar to his legs are upgraded to be more powerful and he uses them to lift or move objects rather then mechadendrites, they are also able, unlike mechandrites, to withstand pressure trough prolonged periods. Since John never really had to fight in a lot of open confrontation he never bothered to upgrade his weapons and was worried only about heavy machinery falling and crushing him.That is why his Tech axe is more adapted to cutting, bending and hammering of heavy and large mechanical parts and his Las Pistol stands basically in it's kit form, despite that fact he is capable of delivering more then devastating blow to any enemy that stands within range.

Biography:
John was born on Mars in a respected family. He joined Cult Mechanicus when he was 15 and excelled in his learning and doing from the beginning. Such behaviour made him noticed in upper Priesthood and he was given harder and harder tasks on which completion he would sometimes get awarded with a new part. He often though that this was his fathers work since he had enough influence to make such things happen. Only later he learned that it was not and that his father wanted him to remain as much biotic as long as possible. His father was a Logis and he deemed that human parts are what enables John to learn faster and better. Despite that fact he never perceived knowledge as an ultimate goal, and instead of continuing up the Priesthood and became a Constructor he decided to remain a Enginseer, worshipping and mending machines.
His father wasn't happy about his decision to become an Enginseer, but he respected his decision. As an Enginseer, John preformed rituals and various different planets but most of his time he spent on Forge worlds mending giant industry machines. From time to time John was put in the middle of a battle to fix a broken vehicle or cannon, often out of harms way but on more then one occasion he was forced to defend himself. He never cared too much for war but he reasoned it was necessary to liberate the machines from the corruption caused by Chaos and other abuses the machines where put trough in other races. Despite the fact that he was often faced with disrespect from his peers and fear from people he hasn't lost his good will and gladly makes new friends if he ever finds himself in such opportunity.

Bio:

Both of Robert's parents were shuttle pilots, and from an early age there was little question if he'd be following in their footsteps. Without his mother's permission Robert's father began taking Robert out and teaching him how to pilot after his 10th birthday. Robert was an intelligent, calm, and kind enough young boy, but he had problems managing his anger when it did crop up. By the time he was 10 he was already below average height and he was rather sensitive about it. Another boy used to constantly pick on him about his height until Robert became enraged an attacked the boy, cracking his head and breaking multiple bones in his face. The bully was left permanently disfigured. When Robert was 15 a mechanical error aboard his mother's shuttle malfunctioned and caused it to crash. His father, stricken by grief, became an alcoholic and was eventually fired from his job. Robert was forced to start working in his father's stead. He became somewhat cynical. Robert joined the PDF Reserve when he was twenty. To anyone who asked he told them that he could use the change pace, but in truth he thought having the uniform might make it easier to pick up women. He assumed he'd never actually have to fight. He would not have joined otherwise.

Bio:

Mathias was born into a rather poor family in the more urban part of Lucan V, and he ran away from home- his father was an alcoholic and abusive- when he was twelve. From the ages of twelve to eighteen, he lived on the streets in Lucan V, falling in with random, dirty groups. When he turned eighteen, however, he fell in with a clean crowd- the Imperial Guard. He got in by a fluke- one of his more fortunate friends managed to persuade a few of the higher-ups in the Guard. Expected to be expelled from the ranks- and the one place he had finally learned to call home- Mathias trained hard, worked hard, and, eventually, moved up the ranks.

Mathias is young, talented, and intelligent- he hopes to move up the ranks quickly, until he can be put in charge of a large unit. For the meantime, he leads his unit- a rather regular unit- and serves as a close-combat fighter, though he is a decent shot. His skills, developed in the streets, are knife-fighting, sword-fighting, and hand-to-hand combat. In addition to having a natural charisma, his sense of humor is sharp- if somewhat bitter- and he enjoys talking to others. He can be a bit of an idiot, but he gets things done the right way, usually the first time.

Biography-
Alexandro was born into a wealthy family on Lucan V that traded in the limited resource of Orichalcum, at the age of 19 Alexandro left Lucan V and travelled to the planet of Inwit to recruit into the famous Imperial Fists. Unfortunatly he failed his initiation in the "Tunnel of Terror" and was dismissed from the Imperial Fists. In an attempt to retry the Initiation he challenged his CO to a Honour Duel and lost gaining an unsightly scar on the left side of his face.

On returning home at the age of 22 he found that his families fortunes had suffered greatly and that the families wealth had collapsed after a brutal economic takeover of a rival trade company. His families name had been disgraced and Alexandro joined the Imperial Guard to escape the humiliation of his family. joining was no problem for Alexandro as his family had made contacts in the hierarchy of the Imperial Guard and the fact that it was not unknown that he had challenged a fully fledged Imperial Fist Space marine to an Honour Duel.

He had many chances to advance within the Imperial Guard but had turned down every position offered to him as the failure of his initiation still haunts him.
