Hi everyone!!
I was just wondering if there are any Metalheads in this awesome community. So whatever kind of metal you are listeing to, your're welcome to discuss it here.
I personally like more of the Death Metal music like Arch Enemy, Lamb of God, Heaven Shall Burn, Neaera, Hackneyed and stuff like that. But i also listen to "normal" metal like Machine Head, Soulfly, Korn or Disturbed. Just to name a few...
So I'm curious if theres someone out there :P

hell yeah i'm here...
i'm listening to almost every genre...but when it comes to Metal, then i have to mention this two band...have you ever heard a band called Cradle of Filth and Dimmu Borgir...
the first time i listen to Metal is when i'm still in a middle school...yeah i'm talking about Metallica
and yeah i'm listening to Lamb of God, Machine Head (i like their version of "Message in the Bottle"), Disturbed and KoRn too

Yes but I tend to like the 20th Century Metal of an Iron Maiden or Deep Purple or an AC/DC 'vein' to a lot of today's 'metal'. I kinda grew up on that sort of stuff in the 1970s-1980s.

I guess if your from germany and listen to metal you must at least know Wacken. I've been there 4 times and it was always very good!! but noadays ive heard that it grew really commercial and expensive, so im rather going to the smaller festivals next year. unfortuately there are no big festivals in holland as far as i know...

Hey man you live in Bonn so there must be a lot of awesome concerts during the winter. Paladium in Cologne should be pretty interesting . . .
Its the same here. Amsterdam is about 1,5h away so i get to see some nice bands this winter. Sonic Syndicate, Devil Driver and Disturbed are already booked :DD

yeah! here in Bonn there are lots and lots! there are only 2 problems.... time! and $$

this is my first year here...so dont know many places with metal, but lucky me my brother does know! :D
damn you guys...i envy you can go to a festival like that
here in my place, a festival like that is so rare...almost never :(
the last time i go to a concert was about 2-3 years ago (i even can't remember the exact years *sigh*), when helloween and KoRn come to our country
well...its not like i can always go to those shows....><
