Series Summary
16-year-old Hayate is really down on his luck. Because his unemployed parents are good-for-nothings who waste what money they have on gambling, Hayate had to start working at a young age to help out his family. Although such experience has made him inhumanly fast and tough and skilled at things boys aren't normally skilled at, it has also left him in an awkward position, as his parents have racked up such a huge gambling debt that they have sold Hayate to the yakuza for the value of his organs. In a desperate attempt to avoid that fate, Hayate decides to become a "bad guy" and kidnap someone to be held for ransom, but his efforts to do so are mistaken as a confession of love by the girl he targets. When he helps save the (as it turns out) ultra-wealthy 13-year-old Nagi from real kidnappers, she takes him in and gives him a job as her new personal butler (and love interest) until he can pay off his debt.

Released in Japan on August 23,2007.A limited edition of the game was released on the same day which included a Hakuō Academy student notebook and a drama CD.It is for the DS game console.

This is an action game, developed by HuneX and published by Konami, which was released in Japan on March 26,2009
It is for the PSP game console.

DOn`t realy know for a long time I know when I saw the manga for the first time I just read the name (in english) Hayate the combat butler...wtf?

Up to now I have read every single chapter of the manga...and can`t wait for new ones to be released

that`s really difficult... Athena is quite cool, hayate aswell... but I think my totally favorite character still is Isumi she is sooo damn cute when she loses her orientation (which is all the time)

2.I think I've been a fan since about 2-3 years ago
3.I'm up to date with the manga, and I've recently started to collect the English ones, though I'm having problems finding Volume 6. I've watched the first and second season. Call me weird, but I've gotten both versions of Hayate no Gotoku: Ojo-sama Produce, even if I don't understand it. The game schematics are simple enough, and the scenes are so moe!
4.So let's see...I've been a part of Hinagikuism for awhile. But mostly everyone loves Hinagiku, right?

Athena X Hayate forever! He doesn´t need anyone else (least Maria...)
The only problem I had when reading the manga was that there were so ridiculous many characters in it... and most of them just appear for one or two chapters... for example hamsters brother or this otaku teacher who loves hinagikus sister or this weak boy who is always beaten up by his butler...don`t even recall their names!

Yeah, but I think the author will bring those guys in when he wants to. Or not. It's a gag manga. The recent chapter I've read had a development with hinagiku's sister, the mangaka, and the otaku teacher too!
Other people the author has never really included are: Gilbert, Sakuya's illegitimate cousin, along with her family. Isumi. her mother, and her grandmother. The alien from the spa arc(I'm hoping she might come back?). The yakuza guys that wanted Hayate's organs. And of course, Tama and Claus, sadly...

lol, just read the new chapter, but why are the chapters so short all the time? WHY?
and what about this idol and this mecha girl I don`t see any sense in the new plot, but I don`t really care as long as it stays as funny as it is
