Should Marijuana be legal or not?

No, but that doesn't matter because people are still using and finding anyway. Do you know how many people would OD if they made it leagal and easy enough to get it? That is still a drug and people think it's not which I find stupid... it may not be a strong as others but it'll get the job done. But it is called the Gateway drug after all.

improvement of educational system would be great thing and to teach us kids about drugs and all "forbidden fruit" that we like.
marijuana is not adictive but if you start taking it cuz its "cool" and cuz "its great"..or you think that if you smoke it you will be something special, you might turn into zombie..
i did tried it once, it wasnt something special at all...
I even stopped with cigarettes cuz i did a bit of research , after all its not my fault that in school we dont speak about things such as sex, cigarettes or drugs. I mean we did talked but maybe year ago, and i am so interested about it. I asked my teacher of course , and she was so glad to explain it to us, everything what we wanted, ofc from biological aspect..and i hate those parents who come at school and tell to home teacher " how can you speak about that with kids, they are too young and small." that really pisses me off.

if they legalize it , people might get tired of it and maybe they would like to try something stronger...which wouldnt be funny..
i started cuz i wanted to know what is like..thats all..
but after all everything is in your head.. I know the consequences and i wouldn't do it again cuz someone says its good or whatever reason gives me...I don't care..
but also sometimes ,we should ask ourselves why people take drugs ..why the hell they need it..i wouldnt judge them...but I know there is some reason.. so I dont feel any disgust about that kind of people..I would really like to know what is in their head and what they think about...
maybe people overuse marijuana cuz they think its only solution for their problems and only cure, or cuz they think they have no reason to live nowhere to go..depends..

but its better if stays illegal, and to explain to us why we dont need drugs...
and that we need to find reason to live ,marijuana wont make you happy..maybe for an instant later just leaves you in sorrow...

as for the get bored of it and try something stronger I call bull on that as you could say that about anything cigarettes, alcohol etc...

Its only a gateway drug to those who are trying to get into other drugs those looking for more those who want to try other drugs most people are sensible with it and only have that and wouldnt dare touch anything else

I do wish people would learn alittle more about the drug before they post and not just read what the media or hysteria or people against it who post and write on sites say >_<

My friend walked because of it, it helped her with pain now in this country it has moved up the classification system and that means she cant get it medically anymore she ended up back in the wheel chair... She ended up taking it illigally but can walk again, now she is seen as a criminal because people who knew very little about the drug winned until it was pushed up to the higher classification making people who relied on it medically suffer

There should be exceptions, there always are when it comes to medical uses, My grandmother had to use it when she had cancer she died anyways but that's beside the point I want any chance you can get for someone to survive something or heal...but for everyone else it should still be illegal.

And yes, it isn't as dangerous as a lot of drugs, when not abused. the thing is everyone I know who has taken it for non medicinal uses has abused it and a lot of them had very serious issues as a result. Yes, Same can happen with Alcohol, but that still doesn't make it okay. and, as Nilelona-Master said, we should be trying to show people that life is just as good without being dependent on any drug.

I completely agree with RebbieChan in some cases there should be exceptions. I've read in articles that in some cases of people who deal with chronic pain the only thing that has helped is Marijuana. They even said that it helped them better then the "legal drugs". But any drug becomes illegal if people abuse it enough. So yeah it should stay illegal, but for at least more "extreme cases" there should be an exception.

You do know that what you're talking about is a different kind of weed.. it has less THC in it so it's suitable for that kinds of reasons.. it's not like getting weed from someone off the corner or something.. hahaha like would would even sell weed at corners O.o that's stupid.
But then again if it were legal OUR GOVERNMENT WOULD MAKE TONS OF MONEY ROUGHLY 7.7 MILLION DOLLARS YEAR :D and plus they wouldn't be paying a lot of money for jail and stuff.. on on the plus side they could TAX THAT WEED!!!!

In my opinion it should be completely legal... not just for medical reasons. It's not really addicting... It doesnt have an effect on you like alcohol does either... You can still think clearly. Why should cigarettes and alcohol be legal when marijuana isnt?
And even if they wont legalize it completely... they should at least keep it legal for medical reasons since it does help a few people.
Someone I knew, knew this child with autism. He wasnt able to open up to people very much. After trying everything the doctor suggested marijuana... And see there~ it worked. He actually opened up to people and talked to them when he was under the influence of Marijuana ♥
Perhaps if everyone took it the world would be a happier place even =)

No , because there will be people who would screw it up for everyone else. I am happy alcohol isn't banned. The good old days when you could buy a beer at 5 am is gone. Now ya gotta think ahead and buy it in front ( If your smart then lots of it :D ) HOWEVER it's not like this everywhere. Japan has alcohol vending machine outside. Like WHOA , eh ? :D

It should be legal. People should have access to this sort of things. You see, our human societies (all of them, except some hunter-gatherers) are dysfunctional down at the root. We tolerate crowding (human population increase), depression, unplesant jobs, dysfunctional relationships, silly school works, and so on... you need something like marijuana or alcohol that keeps you going, unless you want to die. Besides, marijuana is a plant, not a chemically modified drug. The governments who ban marijuana usage are imposing order by being politically/religiously correct. BS ideologies, nothing more.

Long we have been poisioned by religions and politics of all kinds. Give people their freedom to do what-the-hell-ever-they-want! If they want to kill themselves, fine, they should be free to do so. If they want to live, then again, they should be free to do so too.
