Whats the name of the best movie you've ever seen?

Zodiac was utterly one of the best crime dramas to come by in a long time. Director David Fincher gave a brilliant telling of not only one of America's, but one of the world's most notorious serial killers who terrorized the San Francisco Bay area from the late 1960's to the 1970's and to this day has never be identified. Fine performances by an all star cast including Jake Gyllenhaal and Robert Downey Jr., a repeating sense of unease throughout, a hip soundtrack, and Fincher's signature direction made this entertaining for the entire 2 hour and 37 minute run time.

But really good, will Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. It's funny and impressive, fast and a good story with a message surprisingly well. Although frankly, I wouldn't put Michael Care as the star, but somehow it worked fine.

Well, since the Best Martial Arts Film thread is too far out of date, I'm just going to post my best martial arts film here. I'd have to say that I loved IP MAN for the story line and for the clean cut martial arts. I also loved Fearless for the absolute mastery of Jet Li's wushu. I love Tony Jaa (because I think he's the best action martial artist on TV right now), but I hate his movies.

As for the topic in this thread, LOL, I doubt I'll be able to pick an all time favourite movie. However, I can choose a current Best Movie Ever, which will probably change within the next few movies I watch! :P

This time, I'd have to say : The entire Harry Potter series. Because it's just got EVERYTHING. I'm much more a fan of the books, but I believe that the movies are awesome family traditions now. EVERY Halloween, my family just bangs them out in one marathon, with tons of popcorn, treats, and drinks. It's a great time...

lol rush hour is one of my favorite too , since they can always make me smile.

however my favorite is Bourne Identity. I like how they made that movie..and their adaptation. love the main character and how actor portrayed Jason Bourne. he couldn't have done better job :D

Avengers and Rise of the Planet of the Apes for this year. Avengers was pretty funny especially Hulk and the beatings he was giving ppl. Planet of the Apes with James Franco was awesome. A single ape starting in captivity, evolved himself to the point of freeing his own kind.

AKIRA. I don't care if it's extremely cliche that I chose an animated film, but whatevs. It's my opinion, after all. I loved this movie because not only did it restart my love for Japanese Animation after so many years in middle school of not watching it, but it also opened up my mind to the study of humanity and the human psyche. It encompasses all the deepest parts of mankind and beyond. It's an extreme mindf*** of a movie, and I watch it countless times.
