Being that Summer is staring to close in, and once most of us don't have to worry about exams to keep us away from our beloved Shoujo manga, perhaps we should start another reading soon?

Also, it's been awhile, anyone read anything new?

I haven't >_> sadly.

Sadly, no such summers for me but I suppose I could squeeze in some time for short manga. I really miss our discussions at times. No matter how much you talk about infuriating heroines, drool worthy heroes, bad plots, amazing stories, it's never enough :)

To be honest, I haven't read anything new but I'm only following the manga I was previously though I added Poison princess and this other manga [about vampires, forgot the title] to my on going series. Skip beat! and Dengeki Daisy are the only ones I read as soon as possible. I've been lagging behind on Faster than a Kiss, and Love So life ¬¬

I've been thinking of picking up Bride of the water god, Vampire Knight and Black bird again, hear there's some interesting development in the two.

and hey Rebbie, would you be interested in co-managing if we give this another go and we get enough people willing to do the weekly reading? Co-managing involves stuff like making announcement posts, reminding people to vote, or mentioning deadlines. Such stuff.

Also, a friend of mine keeps trying to get me to read bride of the water god!^^

The only Shoujo I've been reading is still Library Wars, though I'm not keeping up with it and the last few chapters have been disappointing.

Alright then! I suppose the first thing we need to do is get some of our members back here. We might have to drop them vm's asking if they're interested in reading once more. Summers are around the corner so I suppose a lot of us will have some free time :)

And Bride of the water god is wonderful! I love it, the art is beautiful and it's nice because it deals with older more mature protagonists [no high school setting and such] You really should read it! I might pick it up again if you do and then we can discuss it. It's been so long I'm afraid I've forgotten the names and characters entirely! ¬¬

We might also have to search for some new short manga and put up links in our group so that when the time for voting comes there are plenty of options for people. I've got a busy day today but I'll look for some tomorrow or day after.

Great!^^ I'll start reading it sometime this summer, I want to check first to see if my library has it before reading it online, so hopefully I can make it to the library soon, maybe tomorrow even :D (I hope so at least!)

Yay, and we already have April here, ready to read as much as she can! :)
Okay girls, I think what we all should do is post a few titles for short manga [weekly] and once we've got like 5-6 new entries. We'll drop all the members a visitor message asking them to vote if they are interested.

That should give us an idea of how many are interested in reading. I think, 3 people is good enough to have a little discussion but the more the merrier :)
I haven't had the time to go through new completed series as yet but will do so today!

Oh, I got a bunch of new manga from the library today! So, regardless I'll find something to chat about!^^
For shoujo, I got all of "The land of the Blindfolded" which I wanted to read since I loved the first volume.
"Vampire Knight Vol.10" idk if I read this one already or not lol, it's been forever...has this series ended yet?
"Maria Holic Vol.1" It looks funny, anyone read it?
Fushigi yuugi: Genbu kaiden I loved the original and I love Yu Waaste so I'm excited for that one
stepping on Roses vol. 1 idk, sounded semi-interesting.

I'll tell you what I think once I get through them all XD
