All the physical copies in my house aren't mine... but if I had to estimate, easily over a grand. Simply because of how much there is.

In no particular order, with the exception of FMA being my absolute and foremost favourite :
1. Full Metal Alchemist, including Brotherhood
2. Gundam Seed Destiny
3. Ghost in the Shell
4. CLANNAD Afterstory
5. Naruto Shippuden, including ongoing Manga
6. Code Geass R2
7. Outlaw Star

Q4.2 What 3 Anime would you remommend for first-timers and why?

To be honest, it really depends who I'm introducing it to. I suppose I'd start with the classics, the first one being Full Metal Alchemist. It shows you that Anime is much, much more than just animated series. I'd recommend FMA to absolutely anyone, no matter what their personal preference is. Secondly, I think I'd have to suggest Bleach. Although it's not my favorite series, you can't truly be an otaku without seeing Bleach. Thirdly, I think I'd request a series that has more humour... maybe Baka to Test?

Q5. Do you dress a certain way or act a certain way when meeting up with others of this fandom?

No? I tend to wear Anime shirts no matter who I'm meeting up with...

Q6. Do you think this fandom is more male or female orientated?

If you're talking about Japan, it's RIDICULOUSLY male-oriented. I think Anime is popular with PEOPLE alone, but internationally, I've known more females to watch Anime/read Romance Manga in their free time... whereas males take up more time with videogames. Then again... I'm just generalizing because I love videogames and I'm a girl. So... this is my generalization! ;)

Well, it's actually around 4-5 years I guess... I don't really quite remember it...

Q2. How did you get into this fandom?
My friends told me about Naruto, and Sailormoon. And they ask me to join they're group that filled with Otaku. I join, and I turn into an Otaku itself~ ^^ Then, I join forum and stuff

Downloading anime, reading manga online, buying comics, went to festivals and find friends that has more knowledge than me, buying DVDs, and more!!! XD There are a damn lot of ways that I use to obtain Anime u kno ^^

ow wow! u give me a hard question there ^^ I got a lots of Naruto, and Conan comics. I got a lot of anime DVDs, maybe more than 25 DVDs each anime. I got their character album. I got some nendoroids, it's probably more than 10. I got some figurines too~ But it's only 7 TT^TT (I like nendoroids more~). I also got their mp3s and other stuff!! Idk how much is it... maybe more than $1000 USD I guess??? :/

1. FT a.k.a. Fairy Tail: It's cool, and it has a lot of things that u can learn from that anime. Something about love, life, care, pain, and stuff. It also have a really great supernatural things that might be useful for an Otaku to make something like that too~
2. Detective Conan: It's one of my favs~ and it also have things that might be useful to know how good your brains are and how good will u get things. And I think, solving mysteries is one cool thing that u can't really find tin the real world. So, this is a got hot-spot!
3.K-ON!: It tells us about friendship, music, and things that's good and needed to be learn by teenagers like me. The anime is good. It has a lot of creativity on making their art, songs and I also love the drawing 'cause It's soo damn cool too!

Q5. Do you dress a certain way or act a certain way when meeting up with others of this fandom?
If I met them in a fest or fair (anime fair/fest of course) then yea, I'll be puting my akatsuki jacket or my Konohagakure T-shirt or I might cosplay~ But, if I met them in just a usual place like the mall, park and stuff, then no.

Um... I think It's for both. Fandom can fits to anyone or u can even say, fandom can also fits to anything u kno ^^

quite a few if you count the games too then about 70+ series I havent rlly kept track on expenditure (the prices keep on changing so give or take estimate is also outta bounds .. o.o.)

The Getbackers, DBZ, Fate/Stay Night, Card Captor Sakura, Inuyasha, Devil May Cry,Bleach, Naruto, Death Note, Avatar, Code Geass,Gundam ...... there's no preferential order cos each is amazing in its own away

Depends on what genre they prefer ; if a general taste is what they have my recommendations would go for Death Note, Code Geass, Naruto that way they could experience a variety of genres :P

Q2. How did you get into this fandom? What do you mean, "this fandom"? If you're asking how I became interested, well... on the Internet, I saw a pic of Arimi and Ginta (From Marmalade Boy, as I discovered later) kissing , and got curious enough to figure out where that pic is from, and ended up downloading that series.
Q3.1 How do you obtain your Anime? Usually by downloading whatever I can, and buying what I cannot find online.
Q3.2 Do you own any physical copies? If so how much and how much do you think you've spent? I think I spent close to $200 USD on DVDs and OST CDs. The most expensive disk I have is the OST for You're Under Arrest!

Not really. I do look like Onizuka from GTO, though.

There are a lot of series oriented at males, and a lot of series oriented at females. For example, Itazura Na Kiss and Kimi Ni Todoke, and Hanasaku Iroha seem to be oriented at females. There's something for everybody, but you gotta get involved enough to know what to look for!

Well, there was a TV programme I liked and from 8 PM from Minimax it changed to Animax and that’s really how I got into animes.

Well, it depends on everyone’s tastes. But for the beginning well, I might say that Yu Yu hakusho is a good one. It was my first and I enjoyed watching it. I would also recommend something romantic, comedy like Ouran high school host club or maybe Nana… It really depends on the tastes one has, you can’t recommend an action anime to a romance fanatic. Really.

Q5. Do you dress a certain way or act a certain way when meeting up with others of this fandom?

Not really, I act normal but I become excited knowing that these persons here have the same interests like me and I can talk freely and they will understand what I’m talking about.

Q6. Do you think this fandom is more male or female orientated?

I know both, male and female watching anime and reading manga but I intend to say that there are more women than men who are into this stuff.
