Gol D. Roger! Is he a devil fruit user or...?

I remember him talking before that he can "hear things." So is he a devil fruit user? He has to be right? Since he is the most famous pirate of all, or does he only use Haki? Guys what's your insight on this? It'll be cool if you can share it! :)

well, as you said, reyleigh told robin "that man could hear everythings voice".
still he didnt mention he was a devil fruit user.
maybe that was the power of his devil fruit or maybe he as born with it.

Maybe, but it would be really cool if he has Devil Fruit powers like turning whomever he touched into gold (like his name). I dunno, but the only thing I wish right now is for the Fishman Island arc to end. Lol

I think that he used haki when he could hear everything, because of cody now being able to do what appers to be the same thing.

No, I don't think he is a devil fruit user. What ever his "power" was it seems to be a form of haki. Oda has had many times where he has compaired Luffy and Gol D. Roger. From his most reacent comarison in chapter 648, it is implied that the kind of haki that Luffy has is the same that Gol D. Roger has. Because I know that the haki powers that Luffy has is that same as Roger I can conclued that he is not a devil fruit user.

Edit: In addition, when Roger was exicuted he didn't have Kairoseki handcuffs on. If he was a devil fruit user he would have been wearing them.

he wasnt a devil fruit user, his shackles wasnt made out of sea stone.
if i remember correctly it was either smoker or either the old guy at the bar at logue town
said that when he was walking to the execution stand it seemed like he could easily break those shackles.

The power to hear things, must be a form of Haki ^^
weather he is a DF user or not is still not known. I think he is not a DF user, but not too sure about it.
Even the Great Pirate Rayleah was not a DF user (since he swam all the way to Amazon Lilly Island). So to be a great Pirate, DF powers i not a must :)

I think he's not a DF users because the "hear the voice of all things" is an extremely strong haki (i guess haha)

luffy is also like roger on that regard, and that is he too can hear things,
well that means only one thing, roger was not a DF user
