Scanlation Group

Hello!^_^

I'm looking to start a brand new scanlation group or join a new scanlation group. If I joined a new scanlation group then I can proofread any chapter of manga that may be available. If I started a scanlation group I would like to recruit the following jobs:

-Scanners(Raw Provider): I am looking for about 2-3 people for this job. We would need to find quality scans of a manga on the internet. Another option would be if you have the raws yourself but I think the first option would be easier and more efficient.:)

-Japanese/Korean/Chinese Translators: I am looking for about 4-5 people, for now, for this job. To be a translator you must be fluent in the language that you have decided to translate. If you don't have experience in this job then that's ok because we're looking for all the help we can get.^_^

-Proofreaders: I am looking for about 3-4 for this job.To be a proofreader your must speak fluent in English. Your job as a proofreader is to correct spelling and grammar errors.

-Editors: I am looking for about 3-4 people for this job. To be able to do this job you must be exceptionally proficient with Photoshop. Also, your job is to clean up the page and make it look presentable.

-Typesetters: I am looking for about 2-3 people for this job. To be able to do this job you must be proficient with Photoshop as your job is to apply the English text to the scans.

-Quality Checker: I am looking for about 2-3 people for this job. Your job is to proof and edit the chapter before it is about to be released.

-Administrators: I am looking for 2 people to work alongside with me for this job. Your job will be to help keep the website in working order. For more information on this then please message me.

I would personally prefer to join a brand new scanlation group but either one is ok.^_^

hi :)

if you are looking to join a new scan group, you may want to go to those scan groups' site..
they usually would put up notices if they are hiring..
though personally, i find the established scan group seem to have more interesting projects..

in the meanwhile, i'm moving this to 'shameful advertisers' as the bulk of the post looks to me like sourcing for staff for a new scan group :)

I recommend you Evil Flowers: http://www.evilflowers.com/forum/ . They are recruiting people. They have a lot of projects and work quite fast and in HQ. It's not a brand new scan group, but with experience in this fact I have to say that the big scan groups (big as number of staff and members reading) are the best.

Probably be best to pick a series so people know what you're about. I've been in quite a few groups in the past, but I only joined because they were doing series that I liked. If nobody knows what you're doing it's makes it difficult to decide if they want to join or not. At least that's how it was for me in the past.
