I didn't want to comment at the beginning because none of the participants [except DP] bothered to comment in the other GFX battles....
This is for DP!

#1: Looks a little boring. A light effect in his hands and some unfitting glowing border. I don't mind that it's monochrome, but it just screams plain to me. The text looks soo lost...and so useless. It doesn't help the sig to express an emotion better. I know that sigs don't necessary need to express an emotion, but I like those who do.

#2: It just looks bad >.<. Sorry, but it's way to pixelated, too little, no border, chaotic effects. The strong colors burn my eyes. It has no focal point, no actuall flow....I really think you didn't know how you wanted the sig to look like when you started making it @.@.

#3: This and the last one are the best sigs in this competition by far. Text is very good blended, effects look ok and I like the colors you used. Unlike the first one this expresses a little more feelings...the image of power and destruction. All thanks to the effects, the text is useless here as well. Doesn't help the feeling overall but enlist is good blended. Could have used a border, but that's a personal preference.

#4: Now this one's a catchy sig. The colors are nice to look at, text is ok [although useless just like all the other 2 sigs] and the feeling overall is rather melancholic [for me]. Mario FTW! ^_^ What I don't like at this sign is the overused light effects. It's way to white.

In the end voted for no. 3.

Voted for Mario because out of all of them, that one really caught my eye. Although I did like the first one and the third one, they just seemed a bit to monotone for me.
