BLeach Good guys always win, Nobody dies

Welll im new to this site and a huge bleach and naruto fan and Im starting this discussion out of a curiousity regarding the lack of emotional impact brought on from well a lack of death in bleach. That is to say, that no good characters die in bleach. THis is good and dandy sometimes but when a character gets cut in half (hiyori) punched/hit through the chest (ukitake) cut all up from all angles(renji v byakuya) and stabbed through the gut/heart time and time again lol (hinamori). I mean I cant help but look back on all of these emotional moments ( or what were supposed to be emotional) and feel that they have little or no value and lessen the value of future moments such as these. I mean whats the excitement or suspense in teh plot when a man character gets injured if I know they are gonna be ok regardless of the injury or whats happening. I also cant help but feel that it takes away from the overall drama of the series. It seems to me that when ichigo and his companions continue to rush headlong in to battle or hueco mundo that there should be come casualties or cost to the battles. THere needs to be sacrifice in any good story and with all of this i jsut cant help but wonder why none of the above characters have died. One example would be renji, i mean if he had died fighting byakuya it wouldnt have really impacted the story thus far and it would have made that moment and future mometns more emotional.

Villians defeated/killed- seems to be all of them
Heros killed- none

It's kinda like some other shows. Pokemon don't die, they faint.

Why? Because that particular series is aimed at a young audience (kiddies)

I agree but bleach isnt one of those shows. Characters clearly die in this anime its just a question of why cant kubo kill off a single hero, or a single good character. LOl even minor for cryin out loud

This series is more in line with Dragon Ball ...DB was very famous but no one died in it other than the villians ..Bleach seems to take upon that idea. Then again killing some characters might have made the story smaller, instead it just made me yawn and finaly quit the series ..havent seen it past the Karakura town arc

i dropped it, thats how i feel, well i do from time to time read the damn manga but i do it for the sole and unique purpose of knowing wut kubo is screwing up and i get to make a couple of posts in the manga section

^^ Dont lie Shun, you know deep down, you still love bleach.

Come to think of it, Renji has done nothing big with the plot since SS arc. he doesnt even fight bad guys alone half the time.

I think Kubo is a character hoarder. He keeps them around in case he might need them for a plot device later and he doesnt want to be like DBZ where 7 balls can bring you back all the time so he just simply doesnt kill them indefinitely. Case and point Aizen/Hyori/Renji. The only soul reapers that have seemingly died are Tousen and Gin and Gin is still a toss up.

So the lesson learned is Kubo is a novice writer, but he has made some damn good characters.

eh...i dont think Gin is a bad guy...he's actually a good guy and he died...haha...lol
and possibly they dont die coz they're already dead...a soul never die...just wandering around...
thats why they're called shinigamis...just my opinion...
