It...sucked imo...actually. Compared to the manga it was seriously lacking. It fast forwarded, it messed up time lines, it skipped over story plotlines, it added stuff that wasn't ever in the story to the canon parts...To be perfectly honest-it's much better to read the last 20 volumes of the manga than watch this.
The only thing it had going for it was much better art then the first 167 episodes. And-also the last episode did lord over the last chapter in the manga. Inuyasha and Kagome's kiss in that wasn't cliche, or off beat, or annoyingly dull...and it was something that Takahashi-san neglected to put into the manga. So-*that* kiss did make me happy.
But the rest of the Final Act...needs to be restrung. In fact-I think it'd be wise to take a page out of Arakawa's book and do what she did with FMA. Redo the entire series from the get-go and *follow* the manga only this time.
That's my thoughts on it!

I kinda enjoyed it b/c I wanted to see how the story goes on...
But when I watched it I didn't really understand why Kouga wasn't at the end battle... though he was always talking about taking revenge and so on...
When I read the Manga it became clearer to me and i noticed that they skipped some info...
About the ending... I think it's a very romantic ending but it kinda sucks that Kagome will never see her family again... also I was wondering what would happen if Kagome dies... because she's human and InuYasha is Hanyou... it's obvious that he will live a lot longer than she... what will he do if she dies? and how will she feel if she gets older and older and InuYasha still stays the same...

As for Kagome dying...there's a theory that humans who mate with youkai (hanyou too), live as long as they do. So it's also very likely that Kagome will live the hundreds of years that Inuyasha does-and then when he dies-her human mortality will hit her and she'll die too. Yay magic, right? lol.

inuyasha final act was rushed, imo, but i miss the inuyasha series. kagome x inuyasha is the best couple ever!
