    Default MSVCR100.dl problem

"The procedure entry point wmemcpy_s could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR100.dll."

Is the error msg I get when I tried to run some .exe file. I tried putting a copy of the MSVCR100.dll into the same directory of the .exe file but the error is still there.

    Please help me!! T^T

well depends on what system do you have

and to find out go to start -> right click on my computer -> and there somewhere should be System type, this is for win 7
and if you have xp start -> right click on my computer> If "x64 Edition" is listed under System, you’re running the 64-bit version of Windows XP, if not then x86

is not a bad thing, that means you must have installed a x86 version
i assume you ahve windows xp so i looked a version for xp http://www.freewarefiles.com/Microso...ram_39486.html

the other did not worked cause they are for later operating systems
still i dont get it why it did not worked in the first place

if you have win xp and is with sp1 maybe you should considerate upgrading it to sp2 or sp3
to know with service pack (sp) you have you go to start -> right click on My computer and there you have "Service Pack and a number"

    sp2 link http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=28
    sp3 http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=24

Okay wait wait, not so fast! (sorry for double post >.<)

So I tried to uninstall - install and run the certain program again, the same problem appeared! I tried to re-install the x86, but the problem still persists! This also happens when I try to install the same thing on a course mate's computer.

So basically, I just got it by luck last time? O.o
