I really like the first photograph. It's pretty. It's a really clever play on words. And I also like all of the space in the photo. I wonder what the photo would've looked like if the thread was pulled taut or if one of the needles was more in the back.
Chief: Well, I like to think there’s more to my life. But before I know it, I find myself sucked in, unable to turn away. I kind of start to lose sight of anything else.

Anyways, I chose photo 1. I thought it was a brilliant way to stick to the theme but be SOOOO very different. The only reason I'm not a fan of the second photo, is because although it's a beautiful photograph indeed, I seem to find the finish too grainy and sharp for the photograph. It almost takes away from the eye... =/ I'm too distracted by the grain. Maybe a focal point of the eye was needed?
Just my opinion of course, because again... both photos are beautiful. :)

congratulations to all the winners, as for me I finally got discharged from the hospital thought I still feel like I sat on a grenade
