for the next anime battle, maybe we could come up with some suggestion for the theme
seems that the best anime of 2011 was not very popular, mainly due to the fact that people havent seen many anime that were aired in 2011

so some of my suggestion
- best villain,and the post will onl;y be valid if the person nominating him will state the reason, and also prof that the character is a villain, if is not obvious (like for example Madara is a villain, but some may say the Lelouch from Code Geass is not)
- coolest atacks(moves) (like Kamehameha) of course the person nominating the tack will have to say a few thing about it, and maybe a lill descrition of the attack
- most annoying anime people i think this one is pretty obvious

hmm.. i'm tied between best villain and best attack.. both categories are large and diverse..
and they are things that usually gather a large fanbase xD

so come on people.. let your voice be heard =P tell us what you think!

What about more specific things like "BA female characters coolest character design" and do a series of battles around the broader topic in this case the next one could be "BA female characters strongest," "BA female characters best weapon" or "BA female character smartest?"

other larger categories could be like "Anime worlds," "emo characters," "muscle men," "moe characters" all have sub categories like above?

Also maybe "most original plot" "most original character design" etc could be interesting.

those are very good, emo characters, tho i kinda have some ideas about the possible winner lol, thos anime worlds is very good @DG i think you may want to keep this one

what do we define here under anime world exactly?

i was thinking about the setting of anime
for example the ninja world of naruto where people have ninjutsu and whatever, you can float on water, but on tha down side there are no laptops
or in darken than black where you can find yourself being a contractor
or Zero no Tsukaima, you are in a magic land, and can have magic powers and a lot of girls, to bad that most are either tsundere or naive, but whatever floats your way

come one, you can think of a lot of possibilities, but you are right we need to set a example ;)

hmm.. that would work.. lets try something like that
would also be interesting when different shows share the exact same setting..
(say the fate/stay night works and tsukihime, both set in the nasuverse)

alright lets do that.. or does anyone have a better idea?

Those 'worlds' are kind interesting but isn't that kinda hard for the nominations? I think everyone looks different one a world so there are like an infinite number of worlds... or is that just me?

it should work as a poll, if we can give a proper summery on first pot of nomination thread.
Yet, the real problem is the lack of Voters, last finals only got like 9 votes .-.
