and yeah last time was a bit meager.. but my guess is that was because not too many people watched a lot of 2011 anime.. we had more than enough votes with the cutest character competition so it should be possible to get enough again this time

and you guys are right, the theme is vast, im betting that this way ppl would have ideas, and we can a;always tell them if they got the theme too wrong

as for the last competition, i havent voted in the finales, even if i made recommendation, i just havent sow, even one ep from those,. is just that last year was not the best year for anime watching...

is already the 5th DG, you should decide on a theme soon

I think it is a little weird but... how about Best Hair Style?
In anime we get a lot of different, creative and beautiful hair styles, so I think it could be an interesting and not so obvious "battle" =)

best hair style is oke i guess to be considered, but i think that this souled be targeted on anime character, like anime character with best hair style, since in the end it will end up being like that
it wont be ponytail but Edward;s (from FMA) ponytail

LOL Edward's blonde hair is pretty good but if you're looking for best blondie you can't go past Goku (super saiyan). I mean have you seen that thing? O.o
My friends have tried to impersonate Goku's hair but try as they might they always fail. They can't get it as spiky or long or as lucious as it is (yes, I'm a guy).
Anyway I have a suggestion :$
Most funny/ comic anime character
Some of the best anime's have their main character as extremely goofy or funny.
For example in Naruto there's well.... Naruto! and of course Jiraiya ;) in One Piece there's Luffy or Usopp and DBZ with Goku or Krillin.....

I think I'd go for any Battle at this point. Best Hair Style could be an interesting one, because one of the cool things about Anime is that there are plenty of hairstyles to choose from. I think we need to get a Battle up and running for the sake of involving more members in something fun! I haven't exactly scrolled through much of the other posts before me , but some ideas for other Battles could be genres of Anime : Romance, Crime, Action, Cult Favourites, Magical Girls, etc. There's so much out there to choose from! We could do the infamous favourite Uniform or favourite character transformation... etc. :)

Why don't we vote on a topic? Once everyone's brought them up, ofc!

I'll talk to DG tomorrow in chat and see what he thinks, if he doesn't already see this post by tomorrow. I don't know he should just pick a topic and get us rolling with a battle already, or we should take votes in a separate thread? One idea might be to go ahead with a topic to get a battle started, then through PMs suggest an idea. Whichever idea gets the most PMs, becomes the next topic for a battle! :D
