The night after he met the strange sorcerer Mateo walks in at his favourite store in China-town.
"Oh... Hello Mateo-sama, I haven't seen you in a while", the middle aged chinese welcomed him bowing.
"Xing-Mao... You're looking good..."
"Thank you Mateo-sama, what can I do for you today?", says Xing-Mao constantly smiling.
"Do you have a stone knife?", Mateo asks.
"No not a knife... but I received a really old stone dagger just the other day, it was found in a tomb of an old chinese emperor."
"Can I buy it?"
"I wanted to put it for display since it's really decorative, but I know that you can pay me good money for it and with that money I can buy other pretty things for display", Xing-Mao smirks.
"Your're right", Mateo smiles, "How much is it?"
Mateo leaves the shop with a victorious smile, it was easy enough to get a stone dagger, now he just needs to stab that nuisance of a Fairy to get rid of her forever.
He whisles happily when he gets back to his apartment.
When he opens the door, he already knows that he's no longer alone.
"Welcome back Mateo", the Fairy says smiling her strange smile, while sitting at the kitchen corner.
"I still don't know your name and yet you are in my apartment when I come home..."
"My name is Loreena, others call me Loreena-sama, but you don't have to do that", she says smirking.
"Che..." 'How can I kill her with the dagger? The sorcerer said I'd have to stake it through her heart... I need to distract her and then act quickly', Mateo thinks.
"So Loreena... The coin..."
"Yeah... the coin... Was your Witch happy about it?"
"Stop calling her my Witch! She doesn't belong to anyone except herself."
The Fairy suddenly grins at him with a strange expression on her face.
"You might be right, but you know, you can't say the same thing about yourself. You belong to me. You're my creature."
Hearing this Mateo gets so angry that the only thing he can see is red, he jumps over to Loreena and throws her on the kitchen floor.
The Fairy only smiles at him: "What? You're mad now? I only told the truth, you're only walking because of me, so your life-after-death belongs to me, since it's my power that keeps your dead body moving."
Mateo grabs her throat to shut her up and grabs the stone dagger.
As she sees the dagger Loreena turns pale: "No, don't... you don't know what you're doing!"
He smiles at her, cold and mean, then he stabs her heart with the dagger.
As the Fairy screams in pain and somehow turns gray he smiles, thinking: 'With this, it's finally over.'
When he watches Loreena dying he suddenly feels the feeling of loss. 'What's wrong with me?', he thinks bearing his face in one hand, 'I should be happy and proud that I managed to kill the almighty Fairy that everyone kept telling me I wouldn't be able to kill.'
"You're sad because in your dreams you kept longing for me since I made you... Also you're blood is sad when I'm about to die."
"No... you can't be... I stabbed your heart!"
Loreena now sits beside him, still looking a little gray. As he looks at her smile he trembles. She never once smiled at him with such cruelty in her eyes.
Mateo jumps up trying to get away from her but she's way faster than him and suddenly he's the one lying on the kitchen floor with her on top.
"You really wanted to kill me... Ne?"
"Why didn't you die? I'm sure I stabbed your heart!", Mateo yells desperately.
"Yeah... my heart", she chuckles, "You know, when a Sorcerer, a Witch or a Fairy talks about the heart, they mean the heart of power, the source of magic. But stabbing me with a stone dagger... You sure have nerve! Though it didn't kill me... it still frickin' hurt!"
Now her smile is completely whiped off of her face as she binds him with magic so that he can't move.
Her face gets closer to him and he sees a coldness in her eyes that was never there before.
"Have you ever been surpressed... by a girl?", she asks grinning at him very coldly.
"Ho... how the hell could a woman do that to a man?", he asks breaking out in cold sweat.
"You know... It's an easy task to make your body do what I want, since you're such a weak creature and on top of that you're my creature. I have absolute control over you. And what I need now is some magic I can only obtain by doing this."
"Bu... but I have not a single trace of magic in me."
"You're so wrong Mateo... I told you that your dead body is only moving because of my powers... which means you'r only walking because of magic... and I will now take some of this magic back. You will feel a little weak but you will be fine if you drink a little blood."
Loreena smiles as she seems to remember something. "I don't even have to cast a spell to bind us together since you're a vampire you can't resist my blood. And this will make the connection I need to get back my magic."
Loreena now bites her lip open with her little Fairy fangs. 'Where did she get them from!', Mateo asks as she presses her lips on his, forcing her blood into his mouth.
When the blood touches his tounge he is amazed by how delicious it is. It's like ambrose and his fangs pop out faster then ever as she continues drawing magic out of him.
to be continued...
thanks for reading the 8th chapter of this story =)
so Mateo was really trying to kill Loreena, but failed again... what a surprise (sarcasm ^^)
well... if her heart is not the source of her power what is it? is it even to be found on her body?
