Katawa Shoujo

Who here has actually heard of/played Katawa Shoujo?, it seems to have gone unnoticed on AnimeA(to be fair though it was only just fully released on January 4th 2012) as in there doesn't seem to be any posts about it.

And I was just wondering if we have any fans other than me of this amazingly well written visual novel.

*raises hand* I've heard of it. Played the demo way back and have the full game sitting somewhere on my hdd, just haven't gotten around to it yet. The demo was very good though... does the quality stay as high in all routes? I recall something about each route having a different writer...

Yeah the story arcs are wriiten very well however I am unsure wether they were wriitten by seperate authors for each girl though, and you should get round to it at some point.

I have just currently finished two playthroughs back to back I am quite addicted to the story I must say, and don't worry DG I for one certainly won't be discussing about that stuff besides in the actual game you can turn it off ;) also this visual novel is more based upon the actual story of Hisao and the girls rather than the H stuff so there isn't alot.

Well just to be clear,
isnt this the game, where the main character has a heart deasease and then enter a school for disabled students ?

I see, well I have downloaded a version that came in end of last year.
tho I did not play it fully, just tested some opening parts thats all.

and is it good, cause I was not too impressed by the initial setting of it

well the full version was released in january and it has changed alot since the Act 1 Demo and I would say it is very good Act 1 starts off alittle bit slow tbh but once you start to take a girls arc thats when Katawa Shoujo really starts and the full writing material takes place each girl has their own background story and it will more than likely make you suffer from the "feels" as it does with alot of people it all depends on if your more bothered about the story or not as Katawa Shoujo is based more upon the story of the girls rather than the few H scenes scattered about.

I'm currently playing it and I liked it a lot ^^ I only finished the Hanako route, wich I loved, and I'm currently doing Rin's. I think I made a bad choice, because I thought I would like Rin's story and character, but until now it has been pretty boring for me
