Best Villain (2012): Nominations

Alright time for our next contest, this one's a bit straightforward but we think it will be fun nonetheless.

The best anime villain! You can now nominate 3 awesome bastards from any anime.
Any character will do, as long as this character is bad to the bone. (though grey areas also count, as long as he is arguably a villain)

of course we still have our general rules:
-Each member can only make one post. If this rule is ignored any subsequent posts WILL be ignored.
-In each post you must name AT MOST 3 characters/anime/objects that they want to nominate.
-You MUST explain your reasons for nominating a character/show/object.
-If you wish to change your nomination, this must be done by editing your post.
-Do NOT advertise* a character/anime/object.
-The shows with the most nominations will get passed on to the voting round.
-If there is a tie between characters/anime/objects both will be passed on to the voting round.

But those should be obvious and known by now, begin! :D

Johan Liebert from Monster. This is one the best when it comes to drama, tension and physiological suspense. And with Johan's attitude, voice (Japanese version) and the looks can give you a chill down the spine!

I am also mentioning : Light (aka Kira) from Death Note cuase lets face it he so dame intelligient and pychological. Its like watching hanibal lector the anime except without cannibalism but still with the same level of tension and death.




Third choice isn't actually a nomination but I am sharing it with you anyway.
Lelouch Lamperouge, some of you guys may disagree, but all things said and done. Do ends justify the means (I am sounding like a liberal here >.<)

It's hard to come up with a "hero" who is more unabashedly, unashamedly evil. Seriously. Lelouch the 'Manipulator', with a mass body count…possibly up in the seven figures, depending how you do the counting, by the time the Code Geass saga is finally over. At some point or another, he finds a way to betray or kill almost everyone he has ever known.




In spite of it all, though, he had his reasons. He meant well, in his supremely screwed-up way. And in the end, he was ready to pay for it, and pay for it he did.

Barrot (Fractale): Never have I ever hated a character so much. Explain his utter vile-ness kinda ruins some stuff that happens so I'm putting it in a spoiler

Well, for one, Barrot is creepy, the ultimate creepy, and that's even before you find out what he did to poor Phryne. He manipulates everyone, and the worst is is that he is convinced that he is doing what he has to to save Fractale. And how he tries to say that Clain shouldn't love or care for Phryne...after he's the one who did that to her? It makes me sick.

Johan (monster): Well, he's basically like a psychotic next generation hilter. A serial killer who doesn't exist. a monster with a pretty face. Everytime he showed up in Monster, I was on the edge of my seat.

Cell (Dragon Ball): Gotta go with the classics. Anyway, the Cell story-arc was always my favorite and he's always been one of my favorite villains. I love how everyone thinks the threat is the androids and then BAM! Cell shows up and just annihilates everyone and literally everyone. His powers are pretty cool, and I thought his design was awesome. All round cool character.

Johan Liebert from Monster. He can literally make dozens of people kill each other without moving a finger. And he does not even feel remorse about it. The fact that he is so messed up is what makes him admirable and detestable at the same time.

I think that's just it for me XD I can't think of any other villain that really made me feel hatred towards him

1. Deidara- He is the most bad ass member of the Akatsuki lol, Deidara vs Gaara was one of my favorite battles in the whole of the Naruto series :)

Orochimaru from Naruto the cold hearted snake that he is, hes intelligent, crazy, a maniac with dangerous ideologies, does everything for his own benefit, and does not think twice about sacrificing anyone

Kira/Light from Death Note like orocimaru, he did everything it stood in his power to achieve his goal, manipulated and lied even his own kin, a truly crazy man

Vicious from Cowboy Bebop he is infamous and crazy, powerful and blinded by his awn belief, like any villain that respect himself, he does not care much except for what he believes in and the body count does not matter

Naraku, Inuyasha.
Cunning, deceitful and elegant, Naraku was always poetic in a sense, when getting what he wants.
EDIT: One quick note about Naraku, the key to his power was of course the shikon jewl, However, he freely lent it, lost it and got it back with relative ease. As tainted or as powerful the jewl was, he was never overtaken by it, but rather the jewl was overpowered by Naraku.

Rau le Creuset, Gundam seed.
Lending a hand to both sides of the battlefield in an attempt to have them destroy each other.

Naraku from InuYasha
greedy, murderous, manipulative and thats before he became a demon. He enjoys toying with peoples emotions.

Kira/Light from Deathnote
brilliant, motivated, and calculating, he passes his own judgement and in the end it makes him kinda fruity

Legato from Trigun
Cruel, conniving and a true puppet master

Darcia -- Wolfs rain -- Darcia becomes tragically evil after the loss of his beloved Hamona. Best villains, as I retain, are always born out of tragedies.

Orochimaru -- Naruto | Naruto Shippuuden -- Orochi is one twisted snake who likes orgy, sick experiments, and all kinds of nasty thing to achieve immortality. He has malice, coldheartedness, and cruel intentions that make him a formidable antagonist throughout the series.

Master Hades -- Fairy Tail -- The former master of Fairy Tail, turned into dark wizard via experiments with dark magic. He was quite ruthless and power hungry which makes him a good candidate.
